1 more week of preseason to go and we are IN THERE. Who's ready? I'm ready! For cam newton to get more accurate

Some storylines we have so far:
Zeke out 6 games! How will the cowboys fare without him?
Browns are already trying to trade Brock Osweiler. What else can you say but "yikes."
Kaepernick still doesn't have a team. Does he deserve a shot?
The Raiders are currently, to my knowledge, at the second best odds to win the SB at 8-1. How does everyone feel about their chances this year? Will their impending move affect them at all?

The AFC is a joke as far as competitiveness goes. Just a handful of top teams and a lot of garbage. Much more parity in the NFC. Maybe this will be the year the Packers break through and get back to the SB.

This is devastating. I know they've got a great group of receiving options, and this is the one year where the impact of Jules being out won't be as huge (fortunately), but he was the heart of the team.

It's going to feel weird not seeing him suiting up.

Well, the AFC East is a mess. The Dolphins lost Tannehill and brought in Cutler. The Bills traded away Watkins (who would've gotten hurt at some point during the season anyway, so I honestly don't think it's as huge of a loss as people think, because he can't stay healthy enough to be a difference maker long-term), and the Jets are the Jets.

Even if Edelman being out greatly gimps the Pats, they could still win the division at 9-7 this year probably.

This is the perfect opportunity for other guys to step in considering the Pats have an overload of skill players on the roster this year.

I don't think this will impact them too much, it just sucks to see.

I was being incredibly sarcastic with that AFCE post. Jimmy G could probably lead them to a division win this year.

wow it's going to be an intense battle for the number one pick this year. Not sure the Bills are bad enough to hang with the 49ers, Browns, and Jets. They'll probably land somewhere between 6-10 and 9-7 like always

I can vouch for ExTha on losing a team to relocation. In the NBA, I went 100% for the Spurs when the Hornets moved to New Orleans in 2003, cause fuck the Bobcats; they were a shitty team name and played exactly like it too (that and I've been a Tim Duncan fan since his college days, no matter how much hell he put UNC through every time they played Wake Forest). Same goes now for the LA Chargers; I'm friends with a few people who cheered for the San Diego Chargers, and none of them are supporting the new location.

Anyway, I'm amped for the new season. Preseason picks that I know will be wrong halfway through the season...

Wildcards: Chiefs and Bengals

NFC
East: Giants
North: Packers
South: Bucs
West: Seahawks
Wildcards: Panthers and Falcons

I get to see the Vikings in action tonight. I can't wait to see their "revamped" offensive line continue to be utter garbage. There was a topic on the NFL board about whose O-line would be worst all year. No one picked the Vikings.

...I mean, after last year, how do you NOT pick them? I'll believe improvement if I see it. But the new stadium is more likely to explode.

I can explain my logic.

Bengals have two guaranteed losses, one vs the Texans and the other at home vs the Steelers (ya know, primetime curse). For opposite teams, Browns face Jets and Chargers while Bengals face Bills and Broncos.

Essentially, there's a low chance to this, but Browns have to even out any matchup, and win some (win in Houston, beat Jets and Chargers, attempt to beat Bengals at home). Depends if this squad can do it, we'll see when they truly unveil their QB.
