this is totally 100% true. the few romantic relationships I've had were pretty clingy, and I feel like I'm clingy with my regular friends too.

You can re-invent yourself at just about any age tbh. Seriously though if your in your 20's life is going to change drastically at least a few times for you probably. I'm nothing like what I was in my 20's at this point, although I do have the same hobbies/interests and would have liked myself then/now if I met.

If your life sucks, you don't have motivation etc, just try helping others, you'll make friends, make a difference and often find some meaning or something you desire/want for yourself as well in the process.

Doesn't always work, and sometimes the help you provide doesn't work out, is wasted, not appreciated etc, and that is hard, but it still gets you through the time when you didn't have anything else going on, and lets you move on (and you learn from it).

I'm fairly old and I have seen many people give up on life over the years, don't do it. If you keep moving forward things will change/come along that will make you happy you did. You just gotta give it time.

Have you been trying and failing or just not putting in the effort?

I'm awake and I feel awful. I don't know what'll be going on tonight, but if i remember last night correctly, probably nothing.

i skipped my counseling thing and am going to send an email saying I'm done going. Basically I learned that I don't know what I want to get better in my life, and that was going to stop me from getting better. and that makes sense. outside looking in, i don't have a bad life. my parents care about me. i have a job. i have friends. i'm a good student. i'm involved in the community and in school clubs. i don't know what i want more of, so how can i hope to get it? how can i expect someone else to help get me there?

i am glad i gave it a chance, though.

Day four of parties and drinking but I went home early today. This girl I've been talking to told me that she's adopting my speech mannerisms. I had gummy bears and played street fighter. Had tacos. I Think have a party scheduled for tomorrow night, and definitely one for Saturday. Then it's a restful Sunday and Monday school starts.

Both. I've tried talking to woman more but often I just lose interest and/or run out of things to say. I simply have no game and won't 'chase' girls. Meaning if loads of guys are around them they are not worth my time. I wish I could lower my standards, chat up some unattractive, obese girl and tell them everything they want to hear(even if it means lies) but I simply can't.
