Ralph Drollinger is a guy who once said that women should submit to their husbands, and who said that homosexuality is an abomination (pretty common for Christianity obviously) , and that women who are senators that have kids are sinners because they should be at home. And much of Trump's cabinet is regularly meeting with him?

I mean most of them probably believe all this stuff already. So it's probably just reconfirming their beliefs. But... it's definitely a sign that these people aren't going to even try to govern secularly.

I think Venezuela is a very pertinent topic. It's been a while since we saw an old-fashioned dictatorship in South America. I'm concerned for the effect this could have on trade as well as migration; with food shortages and riots, people are fleeing, and for good cause.

Oh it is not aggressive. It is a legit observation that has been made consistently.

Just because an observation is not to someone's liking does not make it aggressive.

I mean, there are two major news stories ging around and from my quick glanced were completely untouched to again as always analyze silly tweets which in anyway could criticize Trumps administration.

I am on the record in saying I am not fond of this term and hoping he does not run next time, but a lot of the stuff in this topic borderlines on pettiness/obsessiveness.

I personally find it more interesting when stuff like Venezuela's election chaos goes on and sanctions are slapped on the President / others wonder if not enough was slapped on him.

I personally find it more interesting when North Korea claims it can hit all of the US mainland with missiles, US is reporting unusual submarineovements from NK, and reports are circulationg of increased movements by US and allies, in addition to a report saying US and allies are seriously close to conducting an attack to debilitate NK.

That is interesting news and, by nature, is political.

Like I said, I am sure you already touched upon Trump threatening to take away Congress' Obamacare special provisions and rolling them into regular status.

NK isn't hitting the US anyway, they'd try to hit Japan first.
and then get utterly destroyed by Japan in retaliation or China to keep the west away. either way there's not much value they have.

Venezuela's just been a giant shithole for over a year now with $200 for a dozen eggs - yes that's American - and people being paid in toilet paper. frankly anything to get them out of it is okay but it's still funny to see more "true communism has never been tried!" type of rhetoric out of it.

they officially don't with some exceptions. if somebody else attacks them, they're allowed to. recently they also gave some leeway on being able to attack first, which is something a couple are arguing for but still a minor voice. (edit: it is legal for them to preemptively strike first though. the issue's with the people, not law.)

bear in mind that despite their "not having a military," they're still a top 5 military of the world, up there with the US, China, and Russia.

And that's really the heart of the problem for you. Back during the election when you had what you viewed as positive talking points, you talked about those. Often not in these topics to the annoyance of everyone, but you talked about them.

Now you openly admit you don't like this administration, but you don't want anyone else talking about the constant influx of information about it. And you call others petty?
