If it were 5 mana, I'd agree with you, but 6 makes it a hard card to justify for that statline against other decks in the meta. It's an interesting tech choice, but I wouldn't expect to see it on ladder.

Perhaps; but on the flip side, anyone playing that card is likely to get destroyed by Pirate Warriors and Token Druids. 6-mana 4/6 is worthless against them, and neither deck wants to hit its 1-drops late anyways.

Also if we're still talking about the legendary thing... I got legendaries in the first 10 packs of every set that I opened. I even bought Old God sets and got a legendary in my 4th pack. My roommate also got a legendary in the first 10 packs of every set. He got 2 legendaries in his 3rd pack of Old Gods.

That's a little too much of a coincidence I'm thinking

All I can tell you is that I absolutely did not get one in 13 Gadgetzan packs. And I know full well it was 13 because I paid for them all with money rather than gold.

I half expect someone to come up with a deck that uses it as a self-thinner for their own deck. Kinda like the Hemet decks.

EDIT: I guess maybe not, for some reason I thought it targeted all 1 cost cards. Not just spells

After you complete the quest, isn't the plan to just win with the Kaleidosaur? I mean, it has stealth and a whole lot more.

I don't understand this game's mana costs at all. Why can't Brawl just be a 5 mana board wipe like literally any other game? It's like they intentionally put random garbage on as many things as possible just to see if people are stupid enough to defend the design.

And yeah I get that it's the game's DNA, but so many thngs are 3-6 more mana than they should be.

Dowolf, I think you are way out to lunch to say that Geist card has a really bad stat line for 6. That card is way stronger than your usual tech since you can just play it at any time and destroy how a deck works or at least mess up a couple cards. Its not like you can only use it when the cards you are teching against are in play. I think the body is TOO strong for what this card can do.

The stat line is ok. I'm not really sure of the deck that wants to play a 6 mana 4/6 no taunt on turn 6 when it only messes up 3 or 4 decks, and conditionally at that.

Also keep in mind that this doesn't actually kill Jade Druid. They can just kill you before fatigue. It's strongest against Miracle Rogue and Inner Fire Priest, and is kinda annoying for Evolve Shaman if they haven't evolved (but they have a third copy that doesn't get hit now).

So fatigue decks want it, but that will depend on fatigue decks actually being good (they're obviously trying to support them this set, so it's possible). Freeze Mage might play it to get around Earthen Scales, Priest decks might play it to counter Miracle, but that's valuable deck slots on one matchup. Seems like something you'd see in tournaments but not on ladder unless everyone is playing these decks.

Never played Warrior before but up to 5 wins in Arena so far. Ended up drafting a lot of neutral cards as wasn't ever certain on what Warrior cards were good. Think only War cards I drafted were Fiery Win Axe, Arcanite Reaper, Protect the King and Execute as I knew they were good

EDIT: Just checked. Also Tar Lord, Frothing Berserker and Molten Weapon

It doesn't even guarantee you the game against Jade Druid. So why play it?

I didn't see SE's remark. I did see at least a dozen people all agreeing with each other. So why would I have reason to believe it wouldn't work? And I wouldn't have wasted gold if I could have depended on continuing to get Un'goro packs from Arena, but I don't plan on playing 10 more arenas before the new set releases.

Actually, that makes me wonder how many arena runs I have done since the pack changes. I hadn't done arena for months prior to Ahune's free runs. So I guess I actually only needed to buy 7 packs rather than 9. So okay, you're 22% right about me wasting gold. (Unless I opened a legendary in one of those packs and forgot, but I'm pretty sure I reported opening a dupe legendary right before the changes hit, and that was my last one.)

I wasn't. Apparently the bug didn't happen to me. I missed the bug where the Gadgetzan tri-class cards were screwed up as well, missed out on packs or whatever the reward was.

doing my free arena run for the week. finally offered a legenday minion in arena! literally my choices are noggenfogger, hemmet jungle hunter, and hogger the doom of elwynn. I actually picked hemmet since this is a face deck. seems like cutting out all of the low mana garbage by playing him right on turn 6 would actually make my lategame strong instead of crappy. we'll see how it works out. hogger might have been the safer bet? noggenfogger is obviously unplayable.
