the FBI isn't gonna bother coming to get your computer over downloading a couple movies, dude. he probably was a large scale distributor of something illegal and frankly this seems to most often happen in child porn cases.

If you're caught torrenting you typically either get a warning from your ISP (if the stuff was by a legit company) or a shakedown letter. The FBI isn't going to be busting in your door for that.

Nah, Canada. The last few times I've come across it I bought enough to last me for a few years (averaging 1-2 trips a year with another person), but I know a guy who just buys his online and it seems pretty convenient... except for the whole ridiculous anxiety about the fact you're literally buying illegal drugs over the internet. Somehow it feels so much safer to trust those shady peddlers at music festivals, or literally any guy I see with long hair or dreads.
