Transfered to a private school at the start of my freshman year, and graduated at the end of that year. I had no sex ed.
Maybe that is why I didn't have sex till I was 19 (could also have something to do with being 15 the year I graduated, and not really being around girls my own age till I was 18 or so after that.) --- Proud member of the Arv The Great is great fan club!!! My high school had a school-wide one-day sex ed course, and there was an optional sex unit that your health teacher could go over.
in the one day course, everyone went to the theater during their English class (so about 250-500 kids per period), and a guest lecturer would give a presentation about STDs and how to prevent them. Spoilers: not having sex prevented STDs. Condoms did too, but not nearly as well. So yeah, it was 40 minutes of that, and then you went to your next class. --- Proud to be EPic Texas Aggie, Class of 2018 A-Whoop! ... Copied to Clipboard!

It was pretty comprehensive, but it didn't really teach me very much I didn't already know. Pretty much this. Started in Sixth Grade. Had some in Middle School health class, and some more units in High School biology and such. It was mostly just the scientific aspects about it with the generic points on safe sex practices. "The only real safe sex is abstinence" and so on. Never had any actual demonstrations for condoms or anything like that. But we did have the "scary" pictures of STDs and the weird videos from inside the vagina during sex. From a biological point, I thought it was kind of interesting. But from the perspective of sex practices, it wasn't anything I didn't learn from friends and the internet. ... Copied to Clipboard!

1) Sex ed was in elementary school. I think I was in 6th grade when I had it (so around 12 years old).
2) We had to do it twice because they completely screwed up the first time they did it. The first time they jumped in with talking about penises, showing us a video animation of a guy getting an erection, and not really putting anything into context. 3) After they did it better the second time, all of the boys spent the next 2 weeks talking to each other about getting erections and asking if anyone had "white stuff coming out of their pee hole". --- I am a senior software engineer. They showed our class a video of a kid talking to an older version of himself. The older version explained the basics to the younger one. Then the teacher said to be sure to wash your junk with soap. That was about it for a few years.
Once we were all mid teens, our gym coach took the class into the locker room and said he was supposed to explain sex to us. He looked around, said "I'm pretty sure you've all gone through puberty already. Any questions?" Aside from one guy asking which slang for his dick was appropriate to use in class, no one asked anything. That was all. --- What did the pirate say on his 80th birthday? Aye Matey! ... Topic Eh not all that interesting upon reflection. You know we got a generic video about the act of sex between man and a woman, how to prevent STD and all that, was taught about different parts of a male and female and their body functions. We were also taught the basics of contraception and had to put condoms on a banana. Basically everything we all already known about anyway. Last few months of every school year of one specific class was focused on sex ed from like 5th grade all the way up. I went to catholic school, and it was given by the same teacher who gave the religion classes (by design), and they never wanted to do it, so they kept it for the end of the year. It was required by law, but since it was at the end, they could always fallback to the "Whoops, we're running out of time, my bad!" excuse, so it was always rushed.
By 10th grade I had moved out of Catholic school and then the same stuff was given much earlier in the year, so then they actually spent the time to go through the material. The usual suspects...how it works, how various kinds of contraception work, how babies are made, how the organs work, diseases, risk, psychology of sexual relationships, blah blah blah. We also had a pretty big section of human biology in 9th grade dedicated to it from a more scientific point of view. Catholic school screw up aside, they did a decent job. I pretty much knew everything there was to know long before it was an issue. ... Copied to Clipboard!

When I was a freshman they took the entire high school in the cafeteria and set the boys on one side and the girls on the other. A local doctor then starting talking about sex. I don't remember what all he said but at the end the school passed out paper and said if we had any questions we could either ask them out loud or write them down.
Nobody said a thing then a guy named Todd, who was always clowning around stood up and said,"Dr. Russell, can I get a cow pregnant?" After a pause Dr.Russell said no, then briefly explained why not. Todd shook his head and said,"Whew! That's a relief." We all busted out laughing.
