Almost HALF of American Teenagers admitted to having Sex BEFORE they graduate high shcool and but are likely to use a form of contraception when they do!!

A new CDC study found that rates of teens doing the dirty birdy by the age of 18 has remained consistent over the past 10 years.

But compared to teen sexual activity peak of 1988, rates have decreased by 17%.

Teens are also waiting a bit longer to do it compared to the 80's when 80% of then back then were doing it as today, 80% of teens use some form of protection, typically the rubber.

42% of girls and 44% of boys have had sex by the time they were 18 which is a decrease since 1988 when 51% of girls and 60% of boys were doing it in the same age group..

The use of protection helped lower the rate of births by teens as teen pregnancy rates peaked in 1990.

Teens today are generally more responsible today than most parent think as 74% of females who have had sex with someone who they were "going steady" with compared to 51% of males.

20% of females and 40% of males said their first experiences were with someone they considered "just friends" or "going out with every once in awhile"

2% of females and 7% of males said they did it with someone they just met

The most important factor is that teen pregnancy rates are down. As of 2014, there were ust 24 births per 1000 girls under the age of 19, plummeting 10%.

Experts believe the trend of a "sensible generation" is helping with that behaviour and that contraception is key to keep that trend going.

19, used protection for the first 3-4 times that night, then the condom broke and we stopped using protection after that. Was seriously nervous for 2 weeks that she would get pregnant and we did not have sex again because of that.
