LIssa leads by 102 million. Priscilla is cutting 18 million of the lead per hour. She'll pass Lissa in about 5 hours. Priscilla isn't gaining fast enough to trigger another boost for Lissa before the match ends so Priscilla will just ride her natural strength advantage over Lissa to the end of the match.

...I obviously know nothing. A pre-Awakening character actually has the natural strength advantage over a character from Awakening or Fates? I know Troubadours have an inherent strength advantage over Clerics, but...I didn't think that THF would be enough to upend the natural strength advantage that being from Awakening or Fates affords.

Just got my perfect arena run with a 4814 score. That's tentatively good enough to advance to tier 20. Rank 2828 when rank 4019 gets there.

I think you are underestimating FE7 a bit. FE7 was the original FE boom in North America and I think it did pretty well in Japan as well. As long as they aren't picking crazy fights like Lucina, they can be fairly competitive. Also remember that Ephraim beat Leo and Chrom in the first gauntlet. Awakening and Fates are strong but they don't instantly beat just anyone.

Probably not. At first I thought that maybe since she's at least had a game released in the US it's a possibility, but that didn't help her against Lachesis so FE1/3/11/12 really is just that weak here.

Don't disagree that Sakura would probably be one of the strongest; I actually expected her to win this outright but I guess Elise is more popular.

...Doesn't that just reinforce the idea that Awakening should hold more credibility than that? Being a SpotPass character in Awakening is literally the only exposure advantage Lachesis has over Clarine since neither had their game released outside of Japan, but FE6 should have the advantage over FE4, especially where characters directly related to FE7 characters are concerned.

Did he? I forgot that. I'm happy, though, because FE13/14 just auto-winning disappoints me. This just isn't one of those times where the older game has the better character. There are a lot of better FE7 characters, whereas I think Lissa's actually a pretty good character.

...Why did I not think of this? I guess because I was always supporting losing armies in the first two Voting Gauntlets, I completely forgot that if your unit wins, you're stuck with it. And Lissa would probably be drawing from the same fanbase as the Fates girls...but by the same token, Sakura's Army is probably more likely to have gone to Elise than to Lissa. As for the other three defeated armies...Clarine's probably either goes to Priscilla or Lachesis, and I have no idea where Maria's goes. Maybe Lissa? I jumped from Mist's to Lissa's, because...those actually were my top 2, facing off in R1.

...No, wait, that's silly. These hypothetical people that don't care about anything before Awakening probably would've started off on Lissa's team, because she was facing a pre-Awakening character in R1 whereas Elise was facing Sakura, and then they'd still be there and Lissa would win this whole thing unless all of the early games' fanbases preferred Elise...oh, wait, Conquest was the one designed for the longtime fans; that could actually happen.

Got another 5* Camilla after 25 orbs. This one has neutral stats, so I guess at least I can sac her or my +Def, - Spd one to give a Cherche Brave Axe +.

I spent 100 orbs on this banner, putting me below 20. I didn't even intend to but I was so pissed off when I got 5* Peri of all blue units when drawing only blues instead of Robin I rage pulled some more, and was rewarded with Priscilla and Young Tiki. 3 units I have no interest in using and have no good skills to inherit-- great!

At least I got some good 4*s but still.

I think I figured out the problem with this game's draw system. Like, overall, it's fair, but man, I don't think I've ever been so irritated at failing to get anything good with so few draws. Like I had a moment where I considered rage quitting over the draws-- and that's never happened to me in a gacha game before.

I feel like off banner 5*s shouldn't reset your pity pull percentage (and shouldn't be helped by it either). Or maybe they shouldn't make 5* units with no good inheritable skills.

Lachesis has bonus power again. It seems like Elise didn't hit her hard enough to trigger 2 hours of bonus so this might be the last one.

from what i can estimate, Lachesis's army would need to have less than 2500 people spending 400 flags to get another bonus, or more than 12500 people spending 400 flags to trigger another Elise bonus. neither seems all that likely.

Elise gained 219M points that update. if she keeps gaining at that rate for the rest of the match, Lachesis could get a bonus at the end as long as she gains less than 103.7M per update. that ratio seems very similar to what's been happening throughout the match, though i'm not sure if that volume of votes can be maintained. this is about the best case scenario for Lachesis to actually win.

Lissa is getting more than 90% of the votes relative to Priscilla per hour. If this keeps up, the boost will never trigger since Priscilla will never be winning by enough. Lissa is not going to get another boost before the round ends.

Maybe Fury and Quick Reposte would work well on him. That should put him in a good place to bait mages.

Yeah I was thinking he could be a decent mage killer. The benefit of having a +Res nature means that Def Ploy 3 is even more effective, which is pretty cool too. Fury / QR sounds pretty good, though he does come with Vantage so I might leave him with that for the time being since I don't think I have any SI fodder with QR right now.

I kind of wish he had a bit more defense or HP because I would actually consider giving him Takumi's Close Counter.

I'm guessing I should join Elise and hope that my cumulative doesn't fall below 30,000 (was sitting at around 20k last I checked).

gah... i got caught up in the hype again. 180 or so orbs down for 5* +atk/-HP Titania, 5* +atk/-res Sheena, and a couple 4* -def Effies. one of the Effies is +atk at least, but -def seems bad for her. i don't think i could even use Effie unless i switch to Japanese voices.
