i beat it on Lunatic on my second try. wasn't too bad, though i don't think i'll be able to do infernal.

up to 39k on TT, despite losing 2 runs to error 803-3001. played a lot more today than the past few days.

Beat GHB Infernal but spent like two stamina potions doing so, and invested in Axebreaker on a Sanaki. My other units were just my standard team...Olivia, Nino, triangle adept Robin. I actually had to swap out my Olivia's Ruby Sword+ for a Silver Sword+, to deal with the asshole blue mage cavalry with vantage that shows up in the last spawn wave (has like...33 MDef, 11 Def or something like that).

(Hard and Lunatic were straightforward for me; think I beat both on the first try).

Admitedly, I already have the quickened pulse seal and am feeling sick of TT, so I'm not freaking out about needing to spend every last stamina on that.

But uhh yeah, this GHB on Infernal is...actually pretty damn hard for an unmerged team. Do it if you're looking for a challenge (and it is an interesting challenge--I basically had to plan several moves ahead to be in the right locations for certain reinforcements). It does just fuck with you a lot, though. 42 speed enemies with 75 HP (not killing that without doubling, and even with hone speed none of my units doubled), with plenty of the debuff that turns bonuses into penalties.

I beat Lunatic thanks to Zephiel. I 5* him and am going to level him back up again before giving Infernal another try. Hopefully with a more decked out inheritance, he'll accomplish a little more.

But yeah, Zephiel seriously does not give a fuck about the Legions. Just gotta keep the mages(Especially the swordbreakers) off him.The horses were especially stupid, being able to survive an attack from Rein if his attack wasn't buffed. Nino, while helpful, did quite a bit less than I was expecting her to.

Hrm... I could get by with a 4* Llloyd hanging around in Tier 14, but the only bonus unit I have that's usable is Camus... another blue. This may be where I hit the brick wall.


I'm making a nice Zephiel but to fit the bonus unit I'd either need to get rid of a dancer, Nino, or Reinhardt. >_>

51500. i hit that about 7 hours ago and haven't done anymore of since. 70k is pretty much my max at this point, don't see myself having the stamina to do any more. might only be 60k.

hopefully that seal on Hector can get me a defense win, still don't have one again. third week in a row of more or less the same team, i got 0 the first week, 4 the second week, and 0 again the third <_<

man tier 17 is so clumped up. last time i was in it, i could move up without even getting a deathless run. this time, i get a few deaths and am bottom 20% with 4500. today i replace it with a perfect run of 4774, and i'm ranked just outside the top 10%.

I only expect it to be worse in 18. Right now, I'm at 4798 which puts me in 1367th place. I didn't put much effort last time I was in 18 because you needed 4800 (or maybe more) to advance

Though I'm not sure how useful Quickend Pulse is for Luna? It's normally a 3 charge so it'll active in the second attack regardless(1-2, 3 *activation vs 1-2 *activation* 3)

No, they are weekly. You have one week to complete all 3 quest levels. The quests will run 3 weeks in a row.

Ohh, but it's really getting harder for me. Sthal is way slower than I thought he was so he gets doubled a lot. Granted that was leveling him at 3*, maybe he'll become decent at 4*?

Either way that basically means I'm relying on two units to kill. Already ran into two Hectors, thankfully Nino can ORKO in desperation range....

Luckily I pulled +Atk Athena so I think she'll work out just fine once I get her to 40.

But I'm at tier 18 and don't think I can move up so I'm not too worried either way.

I beat Legion on Hard, Lunatic and Infernal. On Lunatic, I had Nino kill the archer on turn 1. Then on turn 2 I killed all four remaining enemies to end the map with zero reinforcement. On Infernal, I copied mkv's strategy but I could have slightly modified my Lunatic strategy to also beat the map in 2 turns.

Oh God, I thought Vantage Hector was terrifying. Well he is...


But I just saw a Hector with freaking Green.Tomebreaker. Oh man this is not good for me. Nino is what I use to kill Hectors if I don't have a good red available(and I don't because Stahl isn't lv 40 yet).

Thankfully I managed to take him out with Reinhardt, thanks to Camus' Goad Cavalry and a Luna proc. It's just going to get


Also my defense team probably won't get any hits because I replaced Zephiel with another horse unit so I may have to settle for getting half the defense bonus this season...

Yeah, I'm worried about this too. I'm at 47500 points and my rank is 49685. I'm sure there are a ton of people who are going for the seal and then stopping. We'll see how much I care about 1000 feathers I guess.

at least you got infernal legion. i still haven't tried it. out of the units in mkv's video, i only have Ursula ready to go. Stahl is level 33 (and not neutral, so may not work). Cecilia and Robin are only 3*.

i think there was another one with free units, that used a level 1 Olivia instead of Robin. but i've never pulled Olivia, and already leveled the 2* one to 3* level 40, so i'd have to level up the 1* one and promote her twice <_<

If you have axebreaker to spare, that can make it a lot easier. After giving that to both of my mages, it became a lot easier since Legion can be killed in one round

well, Linde can't use axebreaker, though i can give her the +spd seal to hit 47 with Eirika's buff. i don't think she'd be able to one-round them though. and with Tharja only 4* and -atk, she might not even be able to.

and it seems like the blue units would be even more trouble than Legion.

I don't think that Tharja will be able to do it, and Linde is probably not great on this map. A good green mage would go a long way, but I don't think you'd be having that much difficulty if that was an option

well like i said, i haven't actually tried, but just based on how lunatic went, i don't think it would go too well with the same strategy. my best green mage is a 4* Nino that's neutral atk and spd (i think +HP/-def).

i wish i could find a list of the enemy stats somewhere so i can at least check whether i can one-round any of these enemies.

so Tharja could actually one-round the Legions with axebreaker (and buffs). Linde just barely can't one-round the cavalry mage. if only i had pulled a single Frederick ever to finish off Ninian's fortify def (WoM2 would also probably be better than escape route 3. i've never pulled Cain or Palla either).

I ended up implementing mkv's strategy to beat infernal today. Already had a couple 4* Lvl. 1 Cecilias (I should have went with the plus attack one to save a couple levels, but oh well.) She maxed her attack at 38 to save me some time at least.

Had to promote and level Stahl all the way up though to max his HP (only 4 star Stahl I had was +Atk unfortunately). Just used crystals for the last 3 levels.

And F Robin is a huge pain to level, so I spent a fair amount of crystals on her. The good news is that she was ready to use for infernal once she had enough attack. I leveled her up to 34, but pretty sure in hindsight she had enough atk that I could have used her at lvl 32 as most of her use comes from Ignis, Gronnwolf, and B. Tomebreaker 1 here.

Oh, and Ursula I leveld up a long time ago. So in all I spent 4k feathers + a bunch of stamina and crystals for another 4-star Legion and -2000 net feathers . Not sure it was worth it really in the end, but whatever.

I fell to Rank 48276 so I decided to do one run for safety. 280 points made me go up 14000 ranks. Unsurprisingly, a lot of people don't want to play any more Tempest Trials after hitting 50000 points.

Yeah, I ended up at rank ~25000 with 50700 points. It's crazy how many people stopped right at 50k. But I'm not complaining.

I only managed to do 3000 worth of Tempest Trials before getting bored of it. The discipline to do 100000 points worth is unreal.

I copied mkv's strategy exactly to beat Infernal. Even though i had to spend 6k feathers, i decided it was worth it since i'm sure i'll need 4* Stahl, Cecilia, and Robin again at some point. Leveling them up wasn't nearly as painful as i imagined, which certainly helped. I didn't realize my Cecilia was +Atk/-Def and initially gave her HP +3 seal, but when i realized the hard way Stahl needed it, i sacrificed a Raigh to give her HP +3.

It's both a pro and a con you can find a use out of almost any unit in this game. It's a con because i feel like i need to keep most of my roster leveled and that's what i will always be doing >_>

Did a little summoning. Manage to get a Kat(+Res - HP) so I have a passable red mage now. Gonna stop it there for later banners.


(Well I have a Lilina but +Spd is pretty eh on her)



And apparently +Res Kat(35) is the same as neutral res Felecia and two below +Res Niles. Both of those being mage killers.

There needs to be a meme of Nino ripping maps apart at 1 HP. She really helped carry me in TT and is able to ORKO many enemies even at WTD, and it was hilarious to watch her take 6 damage from Fury every time, HP she didn't even have!

Need to make her 5* and get her to Lv 40 as soon as I'm done with this month's quests. She earned so much SP that she has more than enough to cover Gronnblade+ and either Hone Atk 3 or some other support skill.
