Only in sakura trick (and arguably valkyrie drive: mermaid if rapey = lovey dovey) do we get that.

Pretty good at murdering chimeras and cyclopses in Dragon's Dogma now. Slightly annoyed, that I haven't found or gotten from a quest, a single damn sword I can use. Think I've acquired 2 great swords, but you can't use em as an assassin. Should I make my pawn be every class she can be, same for my main? They're both at max for their second classes, being sorcerer and assassin now.

So far for big monsters:

killed:

cyclops, they die pretty damn fast if they have no helmet
chimera, usually have that snake tail off super fast now
ogre, still tanky, but no longer run from them
golem, stupid bottom of foot weak point T_T

haven't killed, but know of:

big asshole dragon from the beach in the beginning
small red dragon in the forest, can probably kill if I'm patient, will have to try again
gryphon, butthole always lolololol flies away
cockatrice, found a knowledge scroll
tentacle thing under pawn guild, never saw main body

I'm hoping there are a good chunk more, but that's as much as I've seen so far.

about the gryphon on your list- you're not actually meant to kill it first time you see it, and you shouldn't, because it gets a WAY cooler boss fight later on if it lives. i think you should get a quest regarding it as part of the main story eventually

also, lol, the red wyvern- i spent 3-4 hours trying to kill it first time i found it, underlevelled. didn't succeed but shit i got alright at fighting them

Alright, I'll leave the little scamp alone then, though I've seen it 3 times already. The other guy though, I think I'll challenge again the next time I play. I should probably advance the story some too. My pawn's main attitude is set to guardian though. I should see how to fix it. Probably explains why it never gets hired. :(

there's a chair in the inn you can use to influence your pawn's inclination

scather is good for meleers you want to engage bosses (especially fighters, who will essentially tank), medicant sucks don't use it, mitigators is good for rangers and sorcerers if you want them to use aoe, challenger is good if you want a pawn to take out ranged enemies (really good for a sniper), guardians are bad because they'll just stay near you and not proactively engage enemies, nexus is alright on spellcasters if you want them to prioritize buffs, pioneer and acquisitor are usually unwanted but together they can make a memey gathering pawn that actively scouts ahead during battle grabbing everything they see

utilitarian is different in that it can either be absolutely useless or gamechanging. a utilitarian pawn is only as good as its battle knowledge. you might have seen pawns actively going after certain enemy weaknesses, such as using fire on enemies that fear it, fighters springboarding you in the air with their shield so you can grapple on an enemy's weak point easier, etc. all pawns will take advantage of these weaknesses to some degree as they see them (throwing fire on an enemy weak against fire has a chance to "teach" that tactic to the pawn, filling in its entry in the bestiary), but utilitarians will ruthlessly exploit those weaknesses. in addition, they will call out weaknesses they know to the party, and other utilitarian pawns in the party (even if they don't know that weakness!) will follow those orders. one example i've seen is a pawn with knowledge calling out "it's weak to fire!" and another utilitarian pawn immediately begins casting fire boon. also, if you have multiple utilitarian sorcerer pawns, they'll chain cast superpowerful spells together. it's legitimately awesome to watch.

utilitarian kinda fooled people for years into thinking the AI literally is capable of learning, but naw, each enemy just has a couple of hardcoded weaknesses to discover. the AI DOES seem to keep a record of how often you use certain abilities if you're the same class as them and it affects their skill usage, but it doesn't seem to massively impact combat

by the way, up to three inclinations can be in effect at once. top two are shown, the third is hidden

She has guardian primary and scather secondary, not sure about the hidden one. Heard that rental pawn inclinations can affect your pawn as well, so I'm making sure that both rentals don't have guardian as their primary. She doesn't seem to be a hindrance anyway though, so I'm not too concerned right now. I have the meteor spell as one of her secondary skills, it wreaks havoc when she busts it out.

Yay, killed the butthole in the woods in Dragon's Dogma. Got two pieces of equipment dragon forged out of that red drake kill, my sword and cape. I need to see if I can get better armor on my sorcerer pawn. She's wearing the princess dress outfit, but I'm wondering if I can beat it out the stats on it with stuff I have and can buy.

Koufuku Graffiti is charming so far as well. Wondering why it isn't rated at least a bit higher, but maybe I'll find out why after I finish it.

Fair warning; although I haven't seen the anime myself, I keep reading comments that it's a prime example of "anime that doesn't respect the source manga and just does whatever it wants" and that it has horrible pacing and barely gives time to explain character backstories and motivations.

Also, apparently it introduced an anime-specific mascot-type character. (which is never a good sign).

A lot of my tastes change over time, like with Gundam Wing (I loved it, now it bores me). DBZ even started to, somehow, but then I got the uncut Kai Blu-Rays and that fixed everything. Somebody dying with a "darn you!" being hurled at the killer was stupid. The censored TV version was horrible, but this one is certainly is not. The only part that is bitter-sweet is how quickly I run out of episodes because there are no filler ones comprised of 20+ minutes of grunting and stare-downs. I also miss the Goku/Piccolo driving episode...

I really like the Arise series of Ghost in the Shell. While it has gotten mixed reviews it seems, I like it way more than the beloved SAC. I've got all four of the "episodes" and the movie that caps them off. It's hard for me to get into anime though. I feel like I'm not really a fan of the medium and just find a handful of things I love so much that it tricks me into thinking otherwise.

I'd rather not have known, but the mascot thing I may have figured out, with how it's ignored a lot of the time and feels a bit out of place. The material adhesion part won't really bother me, unless it's glaringly obvious, since I don't know the source material. I hate when they throw in filler characters. They did it in Toriko as well and it added nothing of value.

In GTO, there was shot of a detailed, hand drawn, but still truck, and a relatively simple moving background; It looks infinitely better than most vehicle CGI that's rampantly used for modern anime.

So I decided to watch more of last seasons anime, I finished Kuzu no Honkai a few days ago and didn't enjoy it one bit, I get that it was supposed to have unlikable characters but the fact that the morale of the story seemed to be "most people (especially women) are scumbags" didn't really sit well with me, Next on the list WAS supposed to be Chaos child and I re-watched Chaos head in advance for it but.. I found the re-watch so excruciatingly bad that after finishing it I really didn't want to see anything more of the series so I chose not to go ahead with watching Child

Onto today and I started March comes in like a lion, I'm 4 episodes in so far and it's looking like a promising series so far, there's clearly more to the MC's story then it seems so I'm looking forward to seeing how the story progresses

Ended up searching around for my answers. Seems they do send rental pawn inventory to your storage, so that's good. As for the quest one, it only pertains to specific quests which I've already completed, so no worries there either. Guess I can start throwing lanterns and pick axes on my rental pawns now.
