Also same question for SF X Tekken. I typically use Bison and Vega in SF games, I know Vega is top tier in SF2 but I don't know for SF X Tekken.

Why did Zero/Vergil take over over Wesker?

Because unlike Wesker, they can wipe you out with basically no counterplay. They also have the advantage of being able to attack the opposite top corner, which Wesker just can't do barring random Phantom Dances.

Probably Phoenix there. She's a lot better in a game that has higher meter gain. She was also slightly nerfed directly between the two games too.

Maybe still Zero though I'm unsure how much of his power was from buffs.

Lots. Without the buster cancel he can't apply lightning loops and is less safe. Still great, just not super dominant.

Last I checked, Vega and Bison were both at least strong in SFxT. Bison less so, but Vega has moves.

Hsien-Ko's scarcely seen even as an assist these days. I only remember LLND ever using her, and he hasn't been seen at tournaments often in the past several months. She's comfortably bottom tier along with Phoenix Wright.

Top 5 is usually considered as

-Doom
-Wesker
-Vergil
-Zero
-Spencer

The order depends, through Spencer is usually fifth.

Hsien-Ko got buffs but is still one of the worst characters.

Ryu is widely considered the best character in the game. Kazuya, Raven, Zangief and probably Ogre is the the top five, Rufus used to be top 5 until his dive kick nerf.

Vega is okay in that game, his lack of damage is his major problem but since you're most likely to win through time outs anyway it's not that big of a problem, M. Bison is complete garbage in that game, one of the absolute worst. His priority is much worse and he can't do anything against someone holding down back since his scissor kicks are much less safe than SF4 and since grabs have no range in this game his tick throw game is non existent.

LLND is still around. He's been on Thursday Night Fights several times in the past few months.

It's really practical through, and without the divekick he lost his approach and ability to force people into corners.

Right, but he's good enough to use still if you can get ahead, because that infinite can SERIOUSLY run the clock. And we all know just how hard it is to turn things around in SFxT without running the timer.

It hasn't been used consistently yet to really count it for Rufus through, most pros (however little are left for SFxT) can't even get it to work in training.
