This AJ/Dixie storyline was really the only big anchor this week.

Just watched last weekend's ROH TV episode though and WOW that was one of their best.

Uh, we're gonna have to agree to disagree on this one. Tonight's segment was cringe-worthy. I expect the match to be completely ridiculous. At least the Dixie angle is giving us AJ and Angle vs Daniels and Kaz. TNA will have to try REALLY hard to make that match be unentertaining.

I guess not, but still, I'd call it basically the same thing, just halfway through the move. Batista beat Cena by catching him in a powerbomb from that top-rope legdrop, didn't he? I'd say that's more or less the same.

Eh I don't think Bully Ray vs Park is a bad storyline. It's pretty amusing even though it's ridiculous.

Hell if they didn't give Dixie a mic the Dixie storyline wouldn't be the worst thing ever either-- at least Daniels is relevant.

Brooke Hogan and Garrett Bischoff (seriously get this "free lunch for family" bs off the show) are the big anchors right now I think. Dixie is #3 simply cause at least Daniels "bullying" her was amusing.

I think the main reason Bully vs. Park works is because it's entirely tongue-in-cheek.

Like, I'm pretty sure that by now we're all clued in to the casting choices here, but we still play along because the characters are great.

Well to be fair Brooke hasn't been overly offensive. Like, she's not good on the mic but she has a bit more charisma than Garrett at least, and knows to keep her ass out of the ring.

Like if her name wasn't Hogan I probably wouldn't hate her so much-- it'd more just be like "well okay whatever." But the fact that I know that the only reason she has a job is because of her father and not by any merit of her own is grating. Like there are random regulars in the crowd that have more charisma than she does.

As far as Brooke goes, I can't hold anything against her this week. Her appearance was brief, served a purpose just as well as anyone else could have served, and advanced a storyline. Fair play.

i find abyss absolutely fascinating because of the park/abyss dynamic.

personally i hope this goes on with a big reveal that park is abyss during the match... where he'll proceed to kill bully ray, don the mask, and treat that as his revenge.


but really, i just find his playing these two characters that are so different so well absolutely incredible to watch.

At the PPV, Sting keeps going for it, thinking it's an easy win because Roode kept tapping to it so easy.

Roode keeps escaping-- eventually counters it in some way to win the match.

Roode cuts a promo at some later point saying how he was feigning weakness so he'd have Sting right where he wanted him, or something like that.

But it's TNA so they won't.
