you know i really want to give TNA a chance because of aries and bully ray and the strong roode push

but that card for the biggest PPV in their history is atrocious

aries vs. joe and the daniels/kaz vs. aj/angle match are good

but devon/garrett vs. robbie e/robbie t? hernandez vs. kid kash? bully ray vs. abyss' non-wrestler brother? why are these matches happening on this ppv and not sunday night heat?

To be fair, the only thing surprising about devon vs. robbie e at this point is that they announced the match before the card.

I started playing WWE 12 again today on a whim. I went into WWE Universe mode and had my character interfere in a Sheamus vs Kane opener to protest not being in the #1 Contender's Match (indeed, my character ranks last because he is new-ish and doesn't get booked much). I laid them both out with finishers, and then I got this when I came back to the menu.



Also my character has shot up the rankings.

I retired Sheamus! (For now.)

This was hilariously unexpected. I didn't even know that could happen. Monster push a-go-go.

And then he showed up a week later on the next SmackDown as the mystery opponent in the main event against World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton.

Also the fans are booing him after his heroic recovery.

Well I dont think Abyss actually possesses drawing power to be honest. And Abyss is involved in the angle and I do think the match will at least be amusing. Youre a chikara fan, surely you see the value in that.

see, i disagree with this if they go the route of Abyss was really just playing Bully and TNA in general. he did this so that he could have Bully in a match and will proceed to beat the hell out of him as soon as the reveal is made that Abyss is in the arena... and the spotlight shines on Park.

it's pretty much the only way this angle works.

Came here to post this. This is quite a coup for wrestling geeks.

Obviously the most significant tape libraries that WWE doesn't own belong to organizations that are still alive. <_<

But yeah I'd say the CWA and USWA tape libraries are now the top dead companies they don't own the library of, which in the case of the USWA is kind of ironic considering the co-operation between WWE and USWA at the time of the latter's existence.

That sounds stupid. I'm pretty sure the idea is that we know Joseph Park is Abyss, but he doesn't. Remember the other week when he was acting surprised at his own strength? Expect the match to be like that, with him acting shocked as he does more and more Abyss stuff until finally he remembers that he is Abyss.

#1 contender battle royal, final 2 of Ziggler and Swagger. Ziggler expects Swagger to just throw himself out for him, Swagger refuses, Ziggler still wins.


At ppv, Swagger costs Ziggler the title either blatantly or by being incompetent, depending on who they want the face to be for Ziggler vs. Swagger.
