There's probably also a box to be drawn around customer service where the average customer has little to no understanding of the service they seek. (i.e. technical support) That's a whole different animal and it's more difficult to pin down what "unreasonable" means.

Had a customer refuse to accept that I was not a robot one time.

Well since you asked...

I used to work at a restaurant that offered wine tastings. You get a small pour of either 3 or 6 wines so you can taste several as opposed to just drinking one.

I worked at this restaurant about a year and a half, and the prices of these wine tastings never changed. There was never a special. There was never any sort of discount or event or anything. The prices were constant.

One day I had a table of three or four. They ordered tastings. I prepared them and brought it to them, etc. When their bill arrived, and the customer saw the line items for the tastings on there, they insisted that the tastings were supposed to be free. I assured them the price was correct. They said I was wrong because they called ahead to ask what the wine tastings cost (red flags going up here), and that they were told the tastings were free. I knew (like 99.9%) that this was a lie because there weren't any new or incompetent people working that day. When I didn't back down and assured them that we do not give away alcohol, they also doubled down and told me they called TWICE just to double check and were told both times that the tastings were free. (Oh, because you anticipated the server was gonna try to rip you off and pocket the money??)

At that point I went and got the owner to come talk to them. And the jerks got their wine for free.

The customer's (assumed) family was clearly embarrassed by them and I could tell this was a typical outing with this individual.

I'm not gonna read this thread, but, there's two things to consider here.

1) The answer is no.

2) It could hardly matter any less because it's a pretty arbitrary and meaningless categorization.

Guess it's not such a big thing after all.

Funny thing, I actually don't listen to reddit for any fantasy football advice. But, my friend who invited me to the league has always seen me on my phone at the bar and assumed I'm on "reddit" (because he doesn't know enough to distinguish from over-the-shoulder visuals) when it's actually mostly gamefaqs that I'm browsing whenever he sees lol

Yeah I mean I did hand in a few one off quests but I didn't unclude them. Like I completed 2 quests in silithus. Also did the ST quests but didn't mention Swamp of Sorrows, etc. Basically for every single dungeon I did the associated quests, too.

Just depends on what you're looking for from that particular game.

I've had this conversation a few times with my friends who play DnD.

For some people, immersion and role playing come much easier when the character is similar to themself. Think of it this way: you're already in a world entirely different from your own, (magic everywhere, or in the distant future, or on a different planet, etc.) so it's not as if there's a shortage of room to roleplay or exercise imagination if the character is just a carbon copy of yourself. It can be more of a burden or hindrance to have to imagine also existing fundamentally differently (as an orc, or a space alien, or what have you) on top of that. Just being yourself but in a different world can be more than enough.

I'm in that group. If I play fantasy games I'll often create a human or very human-like character when roleplaying is prevalent. I can see how the same concept could translate to immersion in a video game.

Yeah we started with about 6 but have 3 left. Two 58s and a 53 so it looks like we'll actually make it to the point of being able to do some endgame stuff together but will always be LFM.

I'm a quarter of the way through 58...it feels like I'm approaching the end of a long tunnel but the tunnel constantly gets longer so that I'm never any closer to the exit

Did my first scholo run last night and got a couple upgrades. I'm over 100 bonus spell damage now which is nice. My elemental mastery is good for about 2.4k now which is way too much fun and feels like it should be illegal. If I come across someone who is my level or a few levels lower they have about a 50% chance to be dead within 2 seconds lol
