I never said they would roleblock in perpetuity either. The only reason they would have to RB would be if death was protecting someone they wanted to shoot. Especially since his protection would be limited.

(This is relevant since everyone is assuming death would claim, which I again say he would not).

When I analyze things they are almost always basic. Mafia is a simple game I don't ever treat it as anything but. Don't know why this pings you in the slightest.

He insisted you were cleared as though you were obviously shot-- a lot of people in the game did not do that and after some analysis of suspect lists I would be extremely surprised if Death was not shot directly. He also insisted that scum would not shoot a bodyguard but would use their roleblocker on it perpetually? Did not make any sense to me.

Death died. There are two options. Death got shot. Chris got shot.

Either way Chris has little motivation to shoot the person he can easily pocket.

Not a lot of scum equity in that kill.

We had a bodyguard and scum has a scanner. I'm just assuming the most common scum role is out there.

You don't have to be convinced.

But we would be wise to look elsewhere I think. You don't pair up with people just to shoot them. Hell if they claim bodyguard you still don't shoot them. Especially presuming they have a roleblocker where whenever they need a kill they can roleblock death.

Beyond that the only change in circumstance is Chris/Death feeling settled.

Death would be smart enough to not say anything about his role.

Chris would be unlikely to date Death just to murder him. There is too much value in pocketing your own dates.

I would be surprised if Chris is scum not sure why we are making dumb conclusions.

bussing with a team of 3 to the point you guarantee you murder yourselves will lose the game a majority of time.

I don't expect scum to be wanting to gambit being a team of 3.

This is why I hate claiming flavor btw. None of the game had any real reason to be up front with their flavor. It had no game relevance at the time. And now we have a chance to verify something and cant because no one in the game hid a thing.

What makes you think you were a day 1 poison target.

You are right.

But it is basically reverse-confirmed by reading Death's PM. The strongman specifies unblockable, the poison specifies kill that takes 2 nights.
