Speaking of what does and doesn't get season 2 or in this case 2 cours, I've been meaning to check out No Guns Life at some point but I've been hearing it's a less than stellar adaptation? Kinda surprised how you can mess up something with the premise of a guy with a gun for a head

I mean I never checked out the source so I can't comment on it as an adaption but I highly recommend the anime

His ex from when he ran spices. She was doing illegal shit anyways so it's not like she wasn't at risk. Also not sure she was actually supposed to be a bounty hunter rather than another smuggler but meh.

Didn't she die to send him a message, and that message is why Rey was able to kill him(if she didn't heal him right after doing so)? That's what I thought happened in that scene, because Leia's voice is what distracted Ben in the fight...

After review of who is actually active on each side to fight with, I change vote to Shaduln from Lopen. Captain Britain is v strong telepath with no real check, then add in Pixie's magic, and Moonstar's illusions to get enough that without the heavy hitting and telepathy resisting Magneto, they should have enough ways of just fucking with the enemy team into victory.

Mega Mana is just redoing Exiles and how I feel about that completely depends on the creative team, not who is actually on the roster... MMX's story seems much more interesting. The actual rosters have similar levels of appeal, so without drafted creators, imma go with the newer and fresher concept.

Eddv
Eddv wins because young X-Men stories are the best X-Men stories. GG no re. Scare's pitch is also just... kinda way too awkward, and I think it would have worked so much better if this was all just Deadpool's idea and Wolverine was nowhere near the concept.

Lopen
Competitive future fuckery is a very strong pitch, esp when they are nominally working together for the same end goals, but not really. I don't really see what Shad's actual story would be about...

Snake
Iceman's roster is v strong for the pitch. But... Snake's pitch is the best I've seen out of everyone in the draft. Also it has fucking Devil fucking Dinosaur.

Fight

Cable is p strong, but Prodigy is dead weight. There's also just no good Magik solution here, and she's gonna fuck shit up.

This was easily the toughest fight in this division. I think Leech can be clutch and swing the fight in Eddv's favor often enough to give his team the win more often than not tho.

Pete Wisdom is the best. Gentle is hte best. Gambit is the best. The pitch is actually something I would love to read, and a very worthy successor to the books I love set in the UK.

This mystery is utterly fascinating and I would love to see it explored. One could argue the limited nature of it hurts but... I'd rather have a short amazing story that ends when it should rather than one which goes on forever because money. Unfortunately for Johnbobb, despite having what is prolly my third favorite pitch of all(It's between him and DeathChicken), he got matched up agaisnt my clear second after Wicklebee's.

Boom-Boom and Darkstar is an evil combo... and I think Marvel Girl can stall Emma/Juggs long enough for the rest to swoop in and end them after cleaning up the scrubs.

I'm not really convinced either way here, and my overwhelming love for Wicklebee's team and concept makes it hard for me to feel comfortable making a decision with how similar I find the power levels to be.

Deathchicken
Assassins gonna gank Martin's team to hell and back, because I am very unconvinced that they'll actually work together. This goes back to me not buying the pitch somewhat, because if I was buying into it more, maybe that would overcome my worries of them not working together based on how I read them as people... but as is... I just don't see them being willing to stay grouped up, I see them splitting into many small groups, and then they just get ganked to shit and back and lose over time as their numbers keep going down. It feels like a lowkey horror movie in the making.

I'm a chamber homer, and I def think he's one of, if not the strongest asset CPU has, but I agree with Johnbobb that between Iceman and Siryn... he's kinda a bit too easy to shut down. Darwin is also a really strong piece that CPU doesn't have a good solution for.
