There are also many benefits to decentralization of energy production, which you don't really get from nuclear reactions. More resiliency, easier to upgrade piecemeal as tech improves, easier for communities to manage the energy for quality rather than profit (similar to community-run internet), etc. More nuclear would be nice but it takes a long time to build and has to be managed by a central authority. --- Do good.
