Depends on the longterm plan and endgame with Roman. If their goal is for him to break Hogan's record, I guess they'll continue the feud with Cody and probably bring Sami and Owens back into the title scene which can set up a few big matches (six man tags, title matches) before culminating at Summerslam with a four-way match where Roman wins the feud. Then the rest of the year Roman has a couple of short feuds with someone like McIntyre or Lashley (if Big E, AJ or Orton are back by then, they are also options).

After that depends on the availability on certain individuals. If they are finally able to ge the Rock for Mania 40, then they will obviously go for that. If not, then (if he's back by then) have Wyatt face him? I mean, I hate everything about Wyatt's character, but the guy is always over in some way with the fans and I think a lot of people would be hype for Wyatt winning the rumble and facing Roman. Otherwise, who else is there? Austin? Lesnar AGAIN? Maybe CM Punk has left AEW by then? We'd be getting to that point where unless they build someone new up by then Roman would have gone through almost every notable wrestler, by then.

At this point, the commentators would start doing their usual "Roman has been Universial Champion for XXX days, he's only XX days away from beating Hogan's record title reign" which make it super obvious he's breaking the record later that year. The question now becomes does he lose it shortly after breaking the record or at Mania 41?

So is the ultimate plan for Roman to break Hogan's 4 year title reign record?

I mean, it no-sold AEW Revolution, so I guess Wrestlemania won't push it to 500.

You left out a royal rumble.
In fact, you've left out the GREATEST ROYAL RUMBLE (2018 Saudi). It was okay.

If I had to pick 5 Royal Rumbles to recommend... Probably 2001, 2007, 2002, 1992, and maybe 2018.

Worst is still easily 2015 by far. Outside of DDP and Bubba showing up and brief spots where Wyatt ran into The Boogeyman and Harper/Rowan early on, there was NOTHING to enjoy from that match ESPECIALLY the latter half of the rumble which felt slow, boring, botched what would was supposed to be one of the most memorable eliminations that night, had two over-the-hill wrestlers slowly dumping people out of the ring, and pretending the match was over for like 3 minutes despite Rusev still not being eliminated yet.

That's not even taking into account fucking up Roman's push so badly heading into the rumble that, combined with key dangling the prospect of a returning Bryan winning the match only to eliminate him halfway into the match with only like 8 minutes, the crowd turned so hard on Roman that it took him needing to take a break to deal with Leukemia in order for that massive heat to stop. Not just an excellent example of how not to book arguably your most anticipated match of the year, but how not to book the guy who you're planning to make the next face of the company.

All the other bad rumbles at least have SOMETHING to enjoy. 2012 had some decent moments despite being underwhelming. 1995 had HBK and DBS lasting the entire match back when that meant a lot more, the earliest rumbles (88-91 and 93-94) were relatively boring (I partially blame the lack of music between entrants entering, not having that really hurts watchthroughs) but still had a couple of good moments and had to establish the traditions/tropes that are usually associated with the match (if that's the right phrase to use)? 2014 only got bad once #30 came out and everyone realised "oh, they are actually going with Batista", 2022 had some decent moments despite being poorly booked as a whole (not to mention Lesnar F-5'ing Bad Bunny keeps it out of the bottom 5 for me). As for 1999, that took a backseat to the whole "Austin/McMahon" angle, but at least the angle was somewhat entertaining (not to mention you HAD to have known that Austin was facing Rocky at Mania regardless of whether he won or lost the match, right? Who else was going to realistically face Rock and not get a Bootista-esqe crowd reaction? Chyna?).

Yep! I think she held the NXT Womens title for over a year then suddenly yesterday she dropped the title to Roxanne Perez and today the announcement of her release. Turns out it's related to her OnlyFans content. It got leaked online and some of it (according to reddit comments) is basically nudes or straight up foreplay/sex. WWE must've found that out, didn't want someone on their shows (especially one that s champion) that recently did online porn in some form, and cut her loose.

That's on her for taking the risk, going that route and not thinking a company that produces content that children watch wouldn't respond, especially in this age of social media. She apparently makes good money on there, anyway, so she should be fine.

Suzuki-gun is finally ending next year.

So on RAW Austin Theory cashed in on Seth Rollins... Who is the United States champion... Who was already issuing an open challenge for the belt... And who just got beat down by Lashley prior to the cash in... Only to also get beat down by Lashley and then lose the match.

Possible there'll be some excuse to give the MITB case back to him within the next week or two like they did with Bryan in 2011 like it didn't count but... WOW.

I think for future tournaments you could do an overtime tiebreaker where everyone is given 24 hours to vote again and you (the host) hold off from voting in the event of another tie, to where you decide who goes through. I doubt anyone will accuse you of biasy since you aren't actually voting in the initial tiebreaker so you breaking any further ties is fair.

Whoops, I pity voted Death Note because I figured Simpsons was going to easily win. Ah well, I love both shows.

I've been tempted to rework the way I seed the tournament in the future, sticking mostly to the nomination tally but using my discretion to raise or lower shows as needed. The seeding has MOSTLY worked out anyway, so I'm still not sure I'm going to start doing that next time.

If I could make a suggestion, how about 50-60% nomination tally and the rest based on each show's overall win % (with new shows getting a flat 50 win % for their first contests)? Would still make getting nominations important, but would stop the bigger shows from being too underseeded.

Remember 5 years ago when there was hype around Katsuya Kitamura possibly being a big future star for New Japan? RIP.

FiM is the lesser of the two evils, so I voted for that.

1 is underrated, in my mind. There were still a lot of elements that had yet to find their mark, but it was still a very good season especially with what was around at the time.
2-8 is the series at its best.
9 and 10 were still very good as a whole, but this was around the point where a number of episodes didn't hit and a lot of aspects that I dislike about newer episodes started seeping in regularly.
11-14 was where things started to notably decline, but it was worth checking out about half of the episodes. This was the point where they had resorted to more outlandish scenarios that felt like the writers were like "Hey, what if the SImpson family or that specific character did X, became Y, went to YZ and/or a certain thing from a previous episode involving them came back?" and it was nowhere as effective/funny than the material from the 90s.
15 onwards was when the show overstayed its welcome.

The funniest thing involving the Simpsons within the last 15 years is probably the Dark Simpsons YouTube channel and that is just re-editing old Simpsons clips to create a new narrative.

WHY indeed! It's supposed to be a reference to "It ain't over until the fat lady sings" but it's executed so poorly and just pops out from nowhere almost like a jump scare. That was one of four games I had when I first got a PS1 (my first console) back in 1998 and that Game Over borderline horrifieded me. It got to the point whenever I GO'ed I turned off my TV screen or flipped the channel just to avoid it. Not helping the fact is not only Psybadek a bad game, but it controls so awfully it's incredibly easy to lose lives in just the first few levels. That level before the Gamer Over screen is actually just the second level and requires you beat x amount of enemies before the timer runs out for 3 rounds otherwise life lost, not helping is the third round where it's incredibly easy to get killed by the enemies.
