Masks have been made mandatory in shops within England starting next Friday. I was wearing a mask anytime I went to a grocery/convenience store anyway (outside of a couple of times, including today as I forgot to put it on before entering), so this doesn't really change anything for me individually.

Wasn't expecting any of my noms to get past around 30 since I wasn't really nominating them for an attempt at 1st. True Blood and Mirai Nikki were probably the closest to "trying to get a high rank". Was kinda surprised Thunderbirds lasted as long as it did especially given the scoring method you implemented, but I wanted to nominate something 50+ years back and it was between this and Captain Scarlet (which probably would've done much better now that I think about it). Spooks of Bottle Bay was something I nominated since I figured no one here would've been familiar with the show, plus rewatching the intro after so many years surprised me by how decent the music actually was since it had been so long. Nominated Home Improvement as I was somewhat surprised someone else hadn't already.

Not yet - it's been exactly a year as of yesterday, so it's a little curious that we haven't even had a tease, but that might have something to do with the fact that the game is still (I think?) being actively supported on consoles.

The last monthly update was back in March. There was speculation there would be another update last month and this, but there's been nothing.

LOL, I don't exactly blame them. Even the guy was was interviewed immediately after the reveal stream mentioned the original 3 games "were a high point of the series", implying that the games past that were nowhere near as go.

Which is absolutely right, because the more this series distances itself away from 00's Crash, the better. Some elements from those games can be reworked/implemented into the new games, but kick the rest into the bin. Crash went from one of the most iconic/popular game series of the late 90's to open world trash that was trying way too hard to be funny half of the time. I know some people like Twinsanity and Titans, but let's not pretend those games are flawless.

BTW, the redesigns are mostly good and anyone complaining they're not needs to go and look up Titans redesigns online and compare them to the originals (ESPECIALLY Tiny, what the fuck were they thinking making him a Mike Tyson ripoff?)

It was announced in what Feb? The earliest we would've got character 1 was E3 and i highly doubt they'd have 2 more ready by December.

First Fighters Pass was announced in November-ish 2018 and Joker, Hero and Banjo were out within 11 months.

Well, they said all of the characters would be out by December 31, 2021. 6 characters over 2 years averages to 3 characters a year. So it's not really silly at all.

This was before everyone released how bad COVID would be. The working adjustments (at least during the past few months and likely into the summer/fall) will likely result in the final character being released by March, 2022.

Unpopular opinion: I kinda want to see the Greatest Wrestling Match Ever after all this hype just be a swerve similar to the finger poke of doom where Edge turns heel, reforms Rated RKO with Orton and they go after the Tag Team Titles.

I know it makes zero sense from a storypoint standpoint, but this company already has a tendency to not make sensible storylines.

He lost the Cruiserweight title match on tonight's NXT but was offered a contract anyway, and it's speculated that this was only done after that IMPACT advert teasing several released talent (notably Spud, Young, Gallows, Anderson and EC3) was released the day before. Reportedly they offered similar contracts to the others but it's speculated that they'd be on less money than before.

In other words, (I think) Drake got fired, agreed to work the tournament anyway, then was offered a much worse contract than he had before so he wouldn't go to one of their competitors who would capitalise on the momentum he gained in the tournament.

Honestly, this might be a good thing provided there isn't an incident where someone accidentally superspreads. The no crowd thing really hurt the matches, so this should help things a little. Not to mention, those NXT/PC guys can learn from watching the matches/promos in person much like the young lions in Japan do.
