That sucks that they got rid of them! I wish my high school would have had better fries. Sometimes, they were ok, I guess...

They got rid of those but not the nacho cheese dip. They just charged out the ass for the cheese dip. First pump was free. It was a quarter a pump after that

i'd actually be fine if the ps5 doesn't do graphics better but just focused on allowing what we have now, graphically speaking be put on a more grand scale. (larger maps, more content etc.)

fps never bothered me at 30, as long as its consistent. its when it has obvious dips here and there it starts to piss me off.

so yeah give me 60fps, but only if you can keep it consistent.

Now I understand why the gaming industry is so profitable and full of filler B.S.

mgs is one of my favorite game series. wouldn't do it for say borderlands despite how much I loved those games. its the only case where i've re bought a game that I still had readily available on another console. I still have final fantasy 12 on ps2, but I have no ps2. I have no clue what happened to my ps2 copy of final fantasy 10 though. so I re bought that simply to have it in my collection again.

the better graphics also sweetened the deal, and I figured it would run better on a ps4 versus 360.

can't speak for nowdays. nowdays when I get depressed there is usually a legit reason why, and the only way to fix it, is to handle that reason.

Which means they can do whatever they want with their platform. But this is not a question of what Twitter can and cannot do, it's a question of what government figures can and cannot do in the forum Twitter has provided.

In the analogy I gave, Twitter would be the company that owned the building and rented it to Trump for the event. They can ban whoever they want from coming in, or enforce whatever restrictions they want to, because it's their building. That's totally distinct from Trump making that call, though. If Trump did it, because he's a government figure, it would be a violation of the first amendment.

The salient point here is that the first amendment prohibits the government from censoring citizens. When Trump blocks somebody from commenting on his Twitter, he's censoring them, which is unconstitutional now that he's part of the government.

I'll make sure to tell Trump I like pineapple on my pizza then bitch when he blocks me.

Fast travel.

Yeah, it's necessary at that point.
But all you're doing then is having size for the sake of size.
You have to traverse the area once or a few times, then get a fast travel point and never have to deal with all that garbage on route again. What compelling design!

Cities should only be enormous if there's actually a ton of worthwhile stuff (from a gameplay perspective, not "realism" perspective) filling that space.

Otherwise...why not just have small "sectors" that are densely packed w/ things, and then each sector has defined boundaries. You cross one, it's like going to a new screen in the original LoZ.
You were in "Industrial Zone" before. Now, by stepping through that boundary, you're in "Residential Zone." The trip between the two areas took your character quite a while and covered a mile or three, or so the game tells you. To you, you just moved to a new screen.

That's basically what fast travel is, but why even keep the stupid pretense that the in between stuff matters at all? Fully remove it and save the player wasted time walking through a bunch of dull urban sprawl that's only there for the sake of making the city "to scale."

I've had that idea before. Provided switching screens doesn't take too long of a load screen I'd be down for it

Skeleton definitely shouldn't be moving around. There's no obvious mechanism that allows movement or sensory perception. I believe there must be some animating force at work.

I believe after many years of poor conditions, the bones breakdown to dust and you get a ghost. But ghosts don't necessarily have to come directly from skeletons.

It's not clear whether they're the result of a decayed existence or some otherworldly force that's been summoned into our domain by the necromancers.

I'm also considering a split branch that will allow vampires. Will formally submit my thesis to the mage's guild shortly. I think I'm onto something...

The ghost should already exist independent of the zombie or skeleton, because you have to die in order to become a zombie or skeleton. Your ghost has left your body and your carcass is moving around by itself.

reminds me of a post I saw once saying there needs to be a show about a person who becomes both a zombie and a ghost. ghost is constantly trying to keep its braindead zombie counterpart from getting itself further killed. "hey watch out for that hole!" type of thing but then it falls in anyways

i don't remember this making news if it did make national news.

Are you talking about mine? If so, it did. It was the D.C. sniper.

damn didn't recall that ever happening at a school, but I was young back then and not really paying attention to the news either.

It's true that you don't need a gun to do damage. But I guess it's easier to do damage from afar with one...

remember a story where a kid came into a school and shot a teacher with a compound bow. it was a fortunate case (for everyone but the teacher) that the teacher was his only target. (wanna say it was like his step dad or some shit like that)

You have to be pretty skilled to shoot more than one person with a bow (especially something other than a shortbow) in close quarters, plus it's infinitely harder to conceal a bow and arrows than a handgun or knife. That's not a particularly pressing threat, I wouldn't say.

with the way society is now days, i'm sure he could have if he wanted. most people are going to flee rather than try to tackle him. and he got it into the school just fine. his bow folded and he wrapped it up in a jacket that he was carrying.

and it was a pressing enough of a threat. a man still died. and considering he shot the teacher as soon as he entered the room if I recall he had the rest of the room pretty much cornered if no one wanted to play hero. if he had been wanting to kill more, its fortunate that the teacher didn't die immediately and was able to attack the kid and keep him occupied while ordering his class to flee. that was some shit too cause he got shot in the head with the bow.

I think rather than make that weird ruling, someone should make him go through proper channels for official statements.

Good luck with that.

don't wish me luck I have no control over it. just stating how I feel about it. you'd think he'd have people to do stuff like this for him.

Americans are constitutionally granted the right to redress of grievances from our government. It is by that right that the judge found that blocking users on Twitter was an illegal action. If it is to be used as an official platform (and certain it it is being treated as such), then the President must allow for open redress of grievances from the citizens.

Hope this clears that up. The judge's ruling may seem strange at first, but it does appear to be correct.

I think rather than make that weird ruling, someone should make him go through proper channels for official statements. once again though I don't care if he repeats said official statements on twitter, i'd just rather him also do it properly.

Yea, you try standing over a 400 degree grill for hours and not wish you'd applied a drying agent earlier.

this is actually solid advice because of this.

you can very easily get a rash down there if it's sweaty and you move around a lot

The more active you are, the more you'll sweat.

Anyone recommending you don't prepare, is a silly human.

I recommend people do whatever they want. as stated earlier everyone is different, working in a kitchen apparently didn't make me sweat too much as far as my lower body went. wish my face would have sweated less though, always afraid of sweat dripping in the food.

Everybody gets a trophy, right? At the end of the year they will all be prom kings and queens.

I don't get the issue with participation trophies. It's not like the winners get the sand sized trophy. So what if some kids feel better with a small trophy, doesn't effect anyone else the slightest.

learning to accept failure is healthy for kids. i'm not going to go out of my way to protest or raise hell over participation trophies, but I do feel its a stupid notion.

We go through this every cycle. People are scared and confused and not really ready to abandon their investment. Launches are always shaky and have alot of carry over from the previous generation.

Incremental improvement is really the basis of every launch and there really isn't anything else to it but gimmicks.

Despite everyone's cackling of diminishing returns each gen has vastly improved it's graphics, fleshed out world's, added tons of features and there's still tons of room to expand in the future.

I wouldn't say this gen vastly improved graphics over last gen. there was improvement definitely but I wouldn't say vastly. mgs 5 looks almost as a good as current gen games. the ones i've played anyways.

either way I won't be buying any new gen console at launch, i've grown wise about this sort of thing as i've gotten older and wait until they've built up decent libraries, ironed out any problems etc. and by then i'll have a better idea of which brand I want to go with

What if you take a dump then? Thereafter im sure it would be a fucking jungle up in there.

I don't poop at work. It's professional courtesy.

I try not to, but if I really have to go, I gotta go. but its odd its like my body knows to do its best to not need to go if i'm working. if i'm off I piss far more often than I do if i'm working. at work I might take one bathroom break and its a couple of hours after my actual break since that's when I will have consumed a decent amount of drink.

...I love Domino in Deadpool 2. Major upgrade.

I was unhappy about it prior to watching the film, but upon seeing it I totally changed my mind. She's perfect!

I still wish they had straightened her hair, at least. and whats wrong with some body paint. domino wasn't even white in the realistic white person kinda way, she was like joker white.

the actor's actual race shouldn't matter in a day and age where body paint can make them look damn near however they want, especially when its a character that doesn't have realistic skin color anyways.

he'll be fine, there's really not much in something like that to do anything bad.

if it was actual onion or garlic pieces, then it's a different story, but even then it's not seriously bad unless it's a lot. online places will tell you to freak out and that the cat only has to ingest like 0.00000000000001 percent of an onion to just up and die from it

but that's very obviously not true

same is true with chocolate and dogs I believe. before the age of internet and info like this being at every ones finger tips, my mom had fed her dog chocolate, not often and never much (like if a piece got dropped on the floor kinda thing) and he was fine up until one day he did get sick and she took him to the vet and found out.

Sucks when people don't ask before giving something to your animal.

I don't mind my dogs getting what someone doesn't finish on their plate. this guy just however never seems to have the decency to consider if there may be onion in the dish or not.
