It's almost summer in the northern hemisphere.

Keep it dry down there. Use the cornstarch versions and not talc.

That's all that matters though. You even said it's unnecessary to go that far yourself, which is true. I go out of my way to assist others, but yeah, I'm not adding extra steps to my already lengthy morning grooming to prevent a smelly crotch when I'm just gonna shower again anyway.

Not to mention the only way this even matters if you are engaging in sexual activities with someone. You can shower before said activities and then boom it becomes irrelevant.

the only time i'd suggest doing it, is if you are working all day outside in really hot weather, but then its a matter of personal comfort over smell. but even when I worked construction I was less quick to do it compared to others.

That's a solid point. I just have to deal with the broken A/C in both my car and at work lmao It's like 80F all day for me. Hell, I've stopped using the A/C at my home and have just been using a box fan.

I used to work in a kitchen that had no AC never bothered me then. working construction though where you are busting your fucking ass in 90-100 degree weather and pulling a 12+ hour shift though, yeah thats different.

but people are different. i'm not as quick to sweat down there as I am my armpits and chest.

with construction its just that after so much walking back and forth you start to get raw down there and it can hurt. you work your ass off in a kitchen too, but its far less walking. especially if you work a position like I did starting out, where you are the guy that runs and gets everything to hand to the people actually nailing it up or whatever. wasn't so bad when I became the cut man, who just stood at a table most of the day cutting the material.

For all those who keep talking about being stinky, and needing to shower, etc. I don't think Sunny meant that you should apply it to keep from smelling. I think he was moreso coming from the aspect of the overall discomfort of sweating down there, and chafing, and rashes.

Also, Sunny why are you standing over a grill for so long?

I try not to, but if I really have to go, I gotta go. but its odd its like my body knows to do its best to not need to go if i'm working. if i'm off I piss far more often than I do if i'm working. at work I might take one bathroom break and its a couple of hours after my actual break since that's when I will have consumed a decent amount of drink.

you can very easily get a rash down there if it's sweaty and you move around a lot

The more active you are, the more you'll sweat.

Anyone recommending you don't prepare, is a silly human.

I recommend people do whatever they want. as stated earlier everyone is different, working in a kitchen apparently didn't make me sweat too much as far as my lower body went. wish my face would have sweated less though, always afraid of sweat dripping in the food.

I occasionally do this when I'm biking a lot in the summer, since the combination of sweating and moving a lot can cause some very unpleasant chafing. Baby powder seems to help a bit with that.
