The Last Jedi lacked in so many ways that it really left them no choice but to overload Rise of Skywalker. The sequel trilogy had very poor focus and direction. Very disappointing. The Force Awakens is by far the best of the three, which isn't really saying much. It also felt like they tried to put too much into the movie. I don't blame RoS for this as much as I blame TLJ; if TLJ hadn't been so bland, they wouldn't have felt so compelled to wrap everything up in RoS. All in all, the series suffered from an apparent lack of long term planning. Yesterday evening I heard some noises, like little footsteps, but when I went to check I didn't find anything. Sure enough the little prick ran along my dining room early this afternoon. He escaped under the floorboard radiator which connects to my neighbour's unit. I went and got some mouse traps and placed them around the perimeter of my apartment with peanut butter. I'm leaving to visit family tomorrow though and I don't really want to leave out traps in case he gets caught and then decomposes or something while I'm gone lmao. Hope the little fucker gets snapped tonight so I can deal with him in the morning. The crazy thing is that I'm on the top floor of my building. I got lucky with Zapdos and caught it on the first ball. I got to Mewtwo today. I thought "ah, I'll just throw Ultra Balls at it and let him take down a few of my Pokemon, whatever". Caught it at 50% health on the 3rd ball. Other times it would live right to 1%. It was also comically large. In 2011 to 2013, I had a Sony Xperia Play, the PlayStation phone. It was a total god tier phone, but eventually just straight up died. I have some low end Samsung Galaxy model now that isn't too great, but gets the job done. It suffers from screen burn in. For many professional careers, unionizing makes great sense. The union I was part of when I worked for Safeway during university was horrible. Union dues brought my hourly before tax wage below minimum wage, and I had nothing to show for it. The union prevented my employer from firing the absolute worst employees despite their complete incompetence and shit work ethic, which only made my job worse. An unskilled job like being a Safeway clerk has absolutely zero benefits in unionization, at least in my experience. Wii U didn't sound interesting, or even that it was something new, and New 3DS had the opposite issue where it sounded like something totally new when it really wasn't. DSi was also a pretty stupid name, but it came out in the final months of that system's life, so nobody really cared. Gamecube sounded juvenile but at least it got the point across and was memorable. My PS4 has been a glorified MGSV and Skyrim machine. I own a few other games but for the most part I would only play those other games for about an hour or two and then never play them again (Witcher 3, Dark Souls 3, SotC). There are a few games I put 5 to 10 hours in, namely No Man's Sky (lol) and The Last of Us (the internet told me it would get good, it never got good). Meanwhile, nearly every game I own on my Switch had my attention to completion.
