Yeah, using this thing in a river seems like a recipe for disaster.

Even on a lake, if you hit a branch or a rock or something and cut a hole in it overnight, you'd risk sinking.

It's a neat idea for like...hanging out in it, but to sleep in? Sounds like a nightmare.

I don't skip 1-5, but it does have big flaws. Namely it's too long for what it is, and it has a really big plot hole in it. I'm a huge fan of the series, but I rank 1-5 around the middle of my list of cases.

RE: people curious about the series, I'd highly recommend the Trilogy, which is available on pretty much every modern platform. The series is incredible, and the Trilogy is a great deal.

I mean, it was almost impossible to screw over gay male players harder. Three options for "Romance" and two of them are old men who friendzone you. Hope you like Linhardt!

(To be fair, I do like Linhardt, but still)

It reeks of throwing in a bunch of F/F options for fanservice reasons and then doing a M/M thing as an afterthought.

I actually don't mind the supports being the same with both genders. But at least give me a few options. I'm gay, I like picking the male main character, and it's kind of fun to get into that element of the game. It would be nice to at least have a few options there.

From what they're saying, it seems more like a planned shooter who got ambushed by an off-duty firefighter and held at gunpoint until the police showed up. We can't be 100% sure that he was planning to actually shoot, since he was busted before firing, but it definitely seems like he was really.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. The Springfield Police Department says they responded to a call of an active shooter at the Walmart: Neighborhood Market at Republic Rd., near Golden Ave., Thursday evening.

The Springfield Police Department arrived on scene within three minutes of the call. Police stated that a young white male, appearing to be in his twenties, pulled up to the Walmart, where he donned body armor and military fatigues. Police say the man had tactical weapons.

Police then say the man walked into the Walmart: Neighborhood Market where he grabbed a cart and began pushing it around the store. Police say the man was recording himself walking through the store via a cell phone.

The store manager at the Neighborhood Market pulled a fire alarm, urging people to escape the store.

Police say the man then made his way out an emergency exit where a firefighter held the man at gunpoint. At that moment Springfield Police arrived on scene and detained the man.

The Springfield Police Department could not confirm the nature of statements said by the man to those inside of the Walmart, but they do confirm that the man had loaded weapons, and over one hundred rounds of ammunition.

Police also observed many shoppers hiding outside the Walmart and at nearby businesses.

Lieutenant Mike Lucas said it was clear the man's intent was to cause chaos, saying in part, "His intent was not to cause peace or comfort...He's lucky he's alive still, to be honest."

Police identified the man's vehicle and are investigating the possibility of more firearms inside the vehicle.

I live pretty close to there, and I've been in that store before. Granted, it's not one that I routinely visit, but I went there with a friend to get food for a BBQ a few years back. It's close enough to hit home for me a bit at least.

If it wasn't a mass shooting in the making, the guy was a colossal moron who just wanted attention in the dumbest way humanly imaginable.

Sophie is great by the ice mountain area, but she definitely shines most in the lineage and legacies arc with that super gauge thing.

But yeah, it's tough playing most of the others. Malik combos weird so you need to know how to spell cancel. Hubert's effective fighting range is basically dependent on the enemy moving around or you'll be too close/ far to land all your arrows or whatever. Cheria just spam indignation endlessly for most fights and you're not even super far off from her effective dps cap unless you have all her skills for her ridiculous combos, she's ironically the strongest character in that case despite being the healer. Pascal is the opposite of Hubert, rather than needing the group to move the enemy around for her to be most effective, she's most effective fighting solo because she moves the enemy around. Combos and hits like a truck, but high learning curve. Lineage and legacies character I won't name, effing amazing combo potency with little damage payoff, nice stun lock potential at least so does a lot to help maintain combos and the damage multipliers for them. Asbel's definitely the star, not the strongest but easiest to get high value from at any point in the game.

Honestly, not really referring to damage there as much as just fun factor. It felt like there was this cool system, but only Asbel really got to take advantage of it because of how the rest of he cast was designed.

I still played as Malik because I liked him, but it was honestly kind of disappointing to gradually realize that nobody got to really do the cool/fun combo stuff that Asbel got to do.

It's amazing how this little stunt managed to piss everyone off.

Fans are pissed because it seemed like a tease at Snake but wasn't.

Harada and Bamco are pissed because it kind of hijacked their reveal without their permission.

David Hayter is pissed because he was tricked into recording that.

It was just awful all around, and drew (deserved) ire from everyone on all sides. Whoever thought that out should honestly be ashamed, because it was a horrible idea.

Claude (I'm still sad I couldn't pull him in Heroes), Raphael, Hilda, Marianne, Lysethia, Linhardt, Mercedes, Dorothea, Caspar, Felix, Manuela, and Seteth.

I don't have the latter two yet (I'm assuming that you can recruit them?), but I enjoy them as characters.

I've considered going back, but honestly, it's just a big commitment and I always preferred playing with friends overall. All of my friends have quit by now, though, so I'm not really sure.

I do still like a lot of the cast, though, like Caitlyn, Miss Fortune, Jinx, Jhin, Varus, Taric, Tahm Kench, Braum, Nami, Heimerdinger, Malzahar, Lux, Brand, Viktor, and Zac.

Give me at least a few of those and I'd be super happy with a League FG.

IIRC they did a season where they were fugitives and drug peddlers, then went back to spy stuff for a season, then did a season where the group ran a detective agency (which tbh wasn't that different from the spy stuff).

(Spoilers again for anyone who cares)

At the end of the detective season, though, Archer got shot and has been in a coma since. The last three season have been noir-themed, island/pirate-themed, and sci-fi-themed, respectively. I've only watched bits of the first two, but they were pretty bad.

I'd say that it's a tease/fakeout, but season 11 was recently confirmed, with the concept being that Archer wakes up after a few years. So the dream seasons are seemingly finally over.

I've actually heard that the space season isn't bad, but I haven't watched. I caught bits of Dreamland and Danger Island, and I didn't like any of what I saw. It was all just very dry and dull more than anything. Hopefully the new season is a return to form.

Last I heard (from secondhand info, but from a friend who's been following closely), rumors stated that the guy was covering people in gasoline as well, and that the victims were having heart attacks just due to the shock and burns. This whole thing just sounds horrible, jeez.

It absolutely isn't. The foreshadowing, the worldbuilding, and lore of the series are among the best in the industry.

Honestly, I feel like anyone who says the former (that it's generic/basic) dropped it early on.

It gets gradually more complex as it goes, and by the end of season 3, it's definitely one of the most well-developed animes out there, if not the best of all time.

4 hours is basically baby mode.

I still have my OG fat gray DS. It gets about 5ish minutes of battery life before going into the red. On a full charge, I can play it for about 10 minutes total before it dies.

Yeah.

Awakening and all versions of Fates are bad in the story department. Awakening and Birthright have pretty bad map design as well. I can't really recommend either. I think Revelation gets a bit too much hate, but most of the fun in that is taking the massive Fates cast and messing with broken pairings for busted kids and stuff. It's also pretty bad in the story department, though it's a step up from Awakening/BR/CQ.

Conquest has some of FE's best gameplay for sure. The maps are super varied and interesting, and the game is hard but not overbearingly so.

Echoes has some great design choices and some unique mechanics, as well as the best story of the 3DS ones + great production values with stuff like full voice acting, which helps a lot over just spare grunts and phrases like the other 3DS ones have. It does have some issues with map design in particular as a result of being too faithful to the original.

I'd say that it's worth getting at least one FE as a definitive 3DS game, but everyone has different tastes there and they all have some flaws in some way or another.

Zero Escape series. (though it barely counts at this point tbh since it's been ported everywhere.)

Layton series. (Minus the newest one, which basically has no plot and is a massive step down in puzzles.)

Zeldas (including TriForce Heroes if you have people to play it with. Obvious skip if not though.)

Animal Crossing: New Leaf (Harder to recommend it with a new one on the way thought due to the nature of the series.)
