Schreier is saying it'll essentially be TLOU with TLOU2 gameplay and graphics, which is definitely more of a full remake and less of a remaster. TLOU2 definitely felt a lot different (and better) to play, and the graphics might still be the best on the Playstation even after PS5 games have come out.

For a long time I was of the mind of, "I need to play and finish every game I own", but there are so many free games being given out every month, and so many games that just aren't that great that I gave that up. Eventually it got to a point where I was playing games just for the sake of it out of some need to clear out a backlog, and that's when I made the decision to only play things I actually enjoy and not care about things I don't.

Don't crucify me for this but while the story/revelations of Outer Wilds is absolutely mind blowing and one of the best I've experienced, I didn't enjoy the part where I had to actually control the character and play the game, which hurt my overall experience with it.

Hades was probably the last one to blow my mind in a purely gaming way. I couldn't believe how great it felt to play and just how flat out fun it was to learn and keep going.

A better answer is probably The Last of Us 2. It blew my mind that a game that looked that good could run perfectly on my base PS4 Slim (although it did become a jet engine while playing), and my mind was also blown in terms of story and emotion, which is much more of a controversial take than any of the other things I've listed. I don't think a game has ever caused me to go from (The Last of Us 2 Spoilers) hating a character to the 10th degree to eventually sympathizing and actually wanting to see the same character succeed over the protagonist of the story. If you told me that I'd empathize more with Abby than Ellie by the end of the story, I would absolutely never believe you.

Dark Cloud 2 is available to purchase on PS4/PS5, and I know at least a few of the games mentioned here are also available on PS Now (for now at least), also playable on PS4/PS5.

I've reinstalled after however long its been after hearing there's a classic mode. Had enough dust to recraft all the old rotated out stuff that I disenchanted to complete my classic collection, very excited to get into it and not worry about the dozen other things that main menu threw at me when logging in.

Yeah, my high school was less than 50% white, which is already higher than a lot of schools in the area of Toronto that I live in, and the soft -a was something a lot of people used to mean friend or when rapping along to music. This was '08-'12 and even by the end of that time it was going out of style as more people realized that it wasn't cool, regardless of whether other kids were upset about it or not.

Nowadays though, that shit ain't flying in schools, and rightfully so, at least in my experience.

I will never defend the use of the word, but sometimes kids want to be edgy and they think that's the best way of going about it, not realizing that it is incredibly racist. You'd hope by calling them out that they realize that they're stupid and stop saying it.

I haven't had any clapping on the small amount of Domestic Canadian flights I've been on, but I'm 6/6 on hearing them on International flights. Maybe it's an old European thing because it always seems to be the old people that start it.

I will take an infinite amount of claps at the end of a movie if it means I never have to hear a clap when a flight lands. Truly the worst of claps. You're literally clapping because the pilot did the bare minimum of what their job requires. It's like clapping when the person at McDonalds hands you your food.

The answer should probably be FF Type-0, but I'm pretty sure I abused the game's systems enough to the point that I managed to get through it and get the platinum in less than 50 hours.

I put in nearly 350 hours with Madden this year before realizing that I could just simply stop playing when I wasn't enjoying it instead of continuing to get more angry at it. It felt great to uninstall and never play again.

I think the social commentary aspect part of it is good, I just would have liked to have seen a better reasoning behind it. I think they could have settled on something better than, "Yeah people usually just give us free shit and that's how we've gotten this far" as the main reason.

I don't even know how to respond to that.

Obviously that's a real, unfortunate thing that many people shouldn't face but do, but I don't think the entire point can be handwaved as being that.

My point isn't that Falcon the Avenger gets less of this mythical 'good will' because of who he is. That could be true, and honestly, that's probably right because that's the kind of bullshit that would definitely happen.

My point is that the writers writing into the story that the entirety of the Avengers surviving and living has come from 'good will' is a bullshit point itself. I know that it works well for the development of the character, but in the wider Avengers world I can't suspend my disbelief to assume that Hawkeye gets free arrows from the local archery store and unlimited food from the supermarket because he's an Avenger and that's the reason he's been able to feed his family.

Enjoyable first episode. I'm way more invested in the Bucky stuff than the Sam stuff so far.

I know they attempted to plausibly explain it in the episode, but I'm kind of finding it hard to believe that Avengers are poor and need to take out 'small' loans relative to the things they're constantly dealing with. There's gotta be some Stark money around.

All these other Avengers can afford to live places and generally exist off of this 'good will' that Sam mentioned, except him, apparently.

I could see myself getting something like a Series S in a few years as a gamepass machine, specifically for exclusives I've missed out on over the years of never owning an Xbox console. I don't do PC gaming so that's the reasonable compromise.

I essentially picked up and moved to Portugal in February of last year with my girlfriend and went through a similar feeling of not making friends. Our situation was a little different because we don't have kids, are in our mid-20s, and had recently finished school so we weren't 'throwing' anything away. The decision was made after years of a 'what if?' mentality that my girlfriend had in terms of living there because she had her entire family there, and was done on my part at the time to both save the relationship and try something new.

We just got back a few months ago after a year of having a lot of fun but realizing that it would never lead to the life we wanted. Anyway, what's important here is that despite there being a 4 hour time difference, I still talked to and played games with friends and family nearly every day. I did a Zoom Jackbox with a friend group nearly every Friday. There are all kinds of ways to see and speak to people you know despite not being there in person, and no amount of time difference can really put a stop to that.

I don't speak and only marginally understand Portuguese but I put myself out there and made one good friend despite being a person who hates small talk and talking to people that I don't already know. Everyone here has already given great suggestions and I think you just need to take the plunge and do something in the community to at least attempt to make it work and meet people. Maybe it doesn't work out, but there's no harm in trying and it sounds like you could be doing a whole lot more to at least attempt to have a good time.

She wouldn't have even been in that situation if she didn't do something bad and/or evil in the first place, and messing with the Darkhold definitely falls under that. You can't commend her on an understandable and necessary choice when the only reason that choice existed was because of malice.

I don't think I've ever actually seen one in person, but I also wasn't born in the 80s or early 90s. All I can ever think about when I see one though is how much of a disaster it would be if the water got out, so I don't know if I'd ever be comfortable owning one.

Great show, loved the ending. Can't wait to see what happens next with Dr. Strange for Wanda, and also hyped for Falcon and Winter Soldier.

Based on most of the responses in these topics over the course of this series, I seem to be the only guy left who actually wants and enjoys to see MCU stuff in an MCU show set in the MCU. Give me all the MCU.
