i mean, I can forgive people sure. But it really does piss me off when I check up on them later, and theyre just doing fine and dandy. Thats not how life should be imo.

I keep thinking turning the other cheek is the right thing to do. But Ive just been thinking constantly how thats bullshit. Some people need a reality check imo. Why wait for life to do it? You donate to things you like. Whats the opposite?

No I dont think to fuck with people, such as wanting to potentially kill them with glass.

Killing or even causing physical harm is a big yikes.

But I always wished bad things happen to bad people. Is it necessarily bad to facilitate that yourself?

So many people I just want them to realize how shitty of a position theyre in.

Rich corporate people are just playing the game. Whatever. Its the beggars who want to be choosers that bug me.

The source of someones envy has practically zero chance of helping them overcome said envy.

A bitter, loveless man wont listen to his buddy thats married for a decade about how happiness doesnt come from a woman.

TC, your friend needs something to happen to prove her wrong. Third parties need to start complimenting her for example.

You said a lot of stuff that can be said about Thor Ragnarok. Which is easily the most overrated movie in the MCU. Literally only liked because of the tone shift into generic MCU movie # 20.

Dunno why Ant Man and the Wasp gets zero leniency. Its basically a game of hot potato. But it works.

I dont see how people can not like Tony in impartial Iron Man armor kicking ass in IM3. His finishing move at the end with the self destruct armor was also badass as it should be his new lvl 3 in the next Marvel v Capcom game.

The choreography in Iron Man 3 is the best in the MCU in fact. Isnt that the movie with the LEGIT parachute save sequence? No green screen or anything?

Ant Man and the Wasp had Ghost. Automatically bumps it over any movie with a forgettable villain. Unfortunately, that leaves the first two Thors or Iron Man 2.

Keep in mind that Thor had no weapon and couldnt really use lightning attacks because he was in a small ship with other Asgardians aboard for round 1, and he was just rusty as hell in round 2.

Im fairly sure Thor (from Infinity War) can solo Thanos. As he practically did until Thanos retreated.

Thus, Superman should be fine.

TopicIs a "good guy" the same as a "nice guy"?
cuttin_in_farm
12/25/19 5:53:40 PM
#68
A nice guy is typically someone who filters too much trying to spare feelings.

A good guy knows how to POLITELY state what he wants and makes no excuses.

This isnt just about getting into someones pants. Thats a strawman that people use constantly. Nice guys do not lash out at women.

The easiest way to determine a nice guy vs a good guy is to ask them one of two questions:

Do you want to go out and eat right now? When the guy is currently occupied.

Or

Where do you want to eat?

A good guy will have the confidence to decline the first question quickly without making up an excuse because he values his own time and knows its not rude. A nice guy will be hesitant to outright say no, and might actually drop what hes doing to go instead.

A good guy will bluntly answer the second question. No issues. A nice guy will, again, be hesitant to give a clear answer or might try to somehow spin it back with a Whatever youre okay with retort. Because they think doing what others want is the obvious nice choice.

Neither a nice guy or good guy are bad people. But the nice guy is prone to abuse much easier when a toxic person matches with them because unlike the good guy, a nice guy tries to value others wants above themselves because they think its nice. Continually abuse will lead to bitterness and then the nice guy slowly turns into the strawman Nice Guy potentially.

Just look at the posts in this topic. Calling them pathetic or wanting something in return. Whats truly sad is that a nice guy is just too filtered in an attempt to not cause conflict. A good guy simply knows that if being forthright and honest causes conflict, its a bad pairing.

Its so formulaic.

-Character who conveniently has few math equations in their intro bio will win as they will do it after the fight.

-Character who uses their ultimate move/transformation first always loses. Because the fights are like tennis instead of a tug-o-war.

-The most absurd feats are considered legit like obviously exaggerated mini games or obscure manga events for video game characters.

-Gameplay mechanics are used as facts. (Link using Z-targeting, Tifa having low defense etc)

I mean, for every Raven vs Twilight where the actual animation of the fight is a legit back and forth, theres shit like Ryu vs Jin where Jin goes devil ten seconds into the fight before Ryu uses EITHER of his two powerups. Making the end result obvious.

And all these years later, Snake vs Sam still remains the best Death Battle. Believable story line for them fighting. Constant gradual back and forth. And the badass knife fight to end it.
