For many fans "when are 5 and 6 finally coming to switch" is a pressing question that they desperately want an answer to, so to hear somebody say they were already on there was probably like a mother 3 fan being told that it's on Switch online

The problem with a lot of Illumination movies I feel is that they usually include a lot of jokes "for the adults" that never land for me

Played both, prefer original. The Remake might be more fun to play but the aesthetic of the original is much creepier.

I mean it's definitely a kid's movie but that's probably the best approach with with any comic franchise not named Batman these days

Pretty much agree with all of this. R2make was able to maintain a lot of the original's feel/tension despite being a complete graphical/gameplay overhaul. This one feels a bit too safe. This is largely due to the og Gamecube version being just so ... weird. The atmosphere just isn't creepy.

It's not a huge deal - still a great game.

5 is more in need of a remake than 4 was. it's almost a shame that these remakes are so faithful, because I'd really like a 5 redone from the ground up with major story changes.

in my experience they get paid minimum wage or a bit more, but I'm not sure if this is true everywhere.

personally I think you should tip fast food too, but it's part of their established business model to not have tips.if restaurants started putting tip lines on their receipts I'd have no problem tipping.

also this depends a lot on the place. if this is a non-chain coffee shop, I want to support that place/the people who work there, so I'll probably tip a dollar or two. If it's starbucks/a big chain I'm more likely to just round up.

I'd love to get rid of tipping as a practice all together and pay people living wages, but it's just not happening so until then I'm tipping

because you absolutely should tip at least a dollar on a latte or any drink that requires preparation. If it's just drip coffee you can just round up/keep change.

They all seem cool but none of them are really my thing

I've played the game a few different ways (different choices re: health vs. stamina, rushing to hyrule castle vs. beating all the divine beasts, low health runs, master mode). They've all been fun.

Again, I think not liking the game is totally fine (combat being boring/slow and the world being empty or boring are takes I disagree with) but I don't agree that the game only has "one fun way to play."

The player who gets right off the plateau and runs to the castle to fill their inventory with high end weapons is far more powerful than the one who spent 100 hours climbing steadily through the main path.

The steady climb might be worth it for story and gameplay content, but it's objectively the worst way to progress and get more powerful.

if you think the point of BoTW is to get as strong as possible as quickly as possible, you're the one who "didn't understand the game you played"

Really I don't have anything to add here, other than if you just don't find the game fun that's fine. I don't think that having non-breakable weapons would fix that. It would just make the world and your inventory more cluttered. If you don't want to fight for the sake of fighting, and if you don't want to explore for the sake of exploring, then I feel like it's a larger issue than weapon durability. In other words it feels more subjective than a legitimate gripe against the game.

I will say the game seems quite generous with its consumables in general

I'm really surprised at how cagey they're being with story details. I'm predicting there'll be at least one more ten minute video that actually explains the premise. I guess they assume everyone is going to get this anyway so why bother hyping/spoiling it, but it also leaves the door open for people saying this is just huge DLC and not an actual sequel.

They kind of skirted around the question of "is the world map the same just with sky islands" so this leads me to believe that this is the case. Maybe a few new buildings but basically the same topography. I gotta say I think this sucks!

The new abilities seem cool but I'm getting the feeling this is going to disappoint a lot of people.

This final boss sequence is an all-time great.

Now I'm glad I overleveled!

I had Osvald's extra experience skill on to get people from level 25-30 so I could beat Partitio's level 3 boss

but from levels 30 - 50 zero grinding- I did luck into some natural cait's/octopuffs. and I've been doing the side dungeons (but I don't consider that grinding).

Tidus is well written but pretty unlikeable

argh i hate how overleveled I am now, just going through the last stories. Things were fine when Hikari was at level 50 and everyone else was 40, but now I have four stories to go and they're all ten levels higher, no grinding/xp boost strats enabled.

several of these final story bosses have been ruined because my max Brandt's blade basically one shots them. and I guess I could just not do that but it feels weird to not do the META. I didn't even get to hear Temenos's awesome final boss theme cause the boss died too quick.
