This. The people who say it ruined all of game of thrones sound silly to me.

Look I'd love to re watch the show like I do with my other favorites but knowing that everything established seasons 1 to 4 ultimately lead no where turns me off on the whole show.

This should of been left a surprise.

What's the story behind getting ghosted to feel this strongly about it? It's only ever happened when I use dating apps. My reasons are straight forward i just lost intrest but normally the conversations prior are just over text. Same thing in reverse I don't take it personally It's like getting upset over rejection. Just accept it and move on.

Yea I stopped watching the show it's clear to me I just don't like it.

The writing, pacing, story, acting and my biggest issue the dialog is just awful. The story isn't progressing fast enough and you just don't care about any of the characters.

Besides the CGI my impression of the show is the same as the trailers the show is written and presented like a day time soap opera.

People have been re watching the origonal movies in preparation for this and the difference in qaulity is just to staggering not to notice I can't watch the show anymore its that bad.

It's like a cheap soap opera fanfic version of Lotr.

Other than names and cgi this just dosen't resemble lord of the rings at all. Like it's just jarring when you watch both side by side.

The difference is noticeable with the dialog it's alot of nothing when you analyze it.

Gaming wise yea

Some games gave you no choice so I learned to play y axis inverted and havnt went back since.

I pretty much dropped the show. Who ever the show is trying to appeal to it isn't me. I enjoyed the 1st and 2nd episodes though.

I've lived in ghetto areas for over 2 decades and just recently moved away from them. 2 back to back shooting happened this past weekend there with one person shot. Last year someone got killed next to my backyard and I've witnessed deaths and multiple shootings over the years it's not worth it especially if your rich.

Games like fallout, oblivion and red faction guerrilla had open worlds you could destroy and interact with the environment making the world seem like something you could physically change and add depth to the gameplay with.

Otherwise it's like playing in a open world painting. Nice looking environments that don't react at all to the player which is what most games have been derailed into.

Yup working 2 jobs the little time.e I had to game I grew to love pick up and play games. For me those were cod cold war, smite and halo 5, Quick 15 minute games were perfect.

Do people really hate weekly episodes? That's the one thing I missed from cable days it gives shows room to breath and allows discussions.

When all the episodes drop at once everyone talks about the show for a week and it's dead after. This is the reason why so any shows get canceled on Netflix.

I'm still playing elden ring and I'm at 85 hours played. My buddy platinum this game a week after launch.

This really should of been done from the start I'm honestly surprised Netflix survived this long releasing shows all at once.

Well I was depressed living at home with my mom working 2 jobs I hated to save up money to move out. Did this for 5 years working 65 hours a week hating my life. Dated a few girls in between and they all ended because of me and my miserable ass. Covid happened so that killed of my little social life so i went full introvert and got anxiety attacks. Lost a ton of money in the stock market and just about to quit or get fired from my FT job. Been on disability leave for a month but i used that time off to figure my life out.

Today is my first night in my new apartment now about to take a course in something I'm intrested in and I'm all in at this point. Decided to shoot my shot on tinder and I got a date for tomorrow. My point is I decided to make a change in my life to be happy, chasing that feeling is what attracts women it's passion and honesty. For once in the conversation I was intresting cause I was being honest about my situation and she found that charming.

Something I couldn't do in my old situation. I'm over 30 I'm just sharing my experience.

I always mention psychedelics in threads like these, and people always seem to just glide right over it. But people talking about exit strategies at 35 or 40? If you haven't tried psychedelics, seriously consider it before doing anything so extreme.

This also has helped me tremendously. I'm just careful on reccomending it here cause I've been modded talking about it.

Hell even other forever alones take pride in knowing they have friends, family, and hobbies even if not dating or in a relationship. That they actually know nerd/dork or not that they have friendship, and shared hobbies.

To believe having a girlfriend or relationship is a end all be all and belief that will complete you is the mindset of someone who has not lived.

Id like to know what crazy shit you heard or saw at 8 years old that made this a set in stone life choice that matters more then anything else.

I use to think that way before getting into my 1st relationship at age 25 and since then had a few brief relationships over the years. I thought if I got a girlfriend somehow I'd be happy, I mean I was when I did but slowly realized if I wasn't happy with myself I couldn't be happy with a girlfriend in my life. The relationships failed cause I felt I wasn't ready personally to many issues from growing up I had to deal with it so I'm choosing to stay single. No negative views on dating or on women and the state of dating in this era of apps and social media. I've met women from tinder, work, family and friends and the opportunities to find good women are there.

From my experience it's best to find happiness within yourself or what others say love yourself first and then seek out a partner.

Single now but I've never really worried about not finding anyone. Thankfully I've never developed a incel mindset towards dating its more of a choice not to right now.

Dating apps and meeting people IRL has been a method for getting dates.

Not really but I didn't hate school either, just felt that it was a waste of time even from the age of 8 I was counting down the years until I graduated.

Keep practicing it took me over a 100 hours over the course of months to get good at a certain multiplayer game.

Over time you pick up on the gameplay loop and figure out tactics from observing experienced players. Soon you'll realize what works and what dosnt and it'll all click. It's honestly just patience, trial and error and consistency in playing.

If your not having fun though just drop the game the key is to have fun while playing so it kinda defeats the purpose or motivation if the game is making you upset.
