| _BIueMonk 07/05/21 8:13:50 PM #8 | i recently filed for bankruptcy too. years of just bad fucking luck with work, then covid finally made me realize that i need to get this debt off my back before i can actually feel like i have control of my life again. got a good lawyer, filed for chapter 7. next week is my last day that creditors can dispute it and hopefully everything can be discharged. the only regret i have is that i didn't do this sooner. i dont know why i kept convicing my self that i didn't need to do it. i think it was the social stimga. i mean, hell, people on this board still troll me whenever i say i buy anything because they think filing for bankruptcy is a sign of failure, as if we're not allowed to make mistakes in our lives. i feel bad for those people. but the good news is that after 5 fucking years of bad luck, my finances have turned around. after filing for bankruptcy, i lucked out and got a great job and all the free money from the government has really been helping. bankruptcy is a fresh start, and i intend on embracing that fact. --- DAHYUN = <3 https://imgur.com/bv71aAd |
