An email recently released by the whistleblowing organization WikiLeaks shows how the Clinton campaign and Democratic Party bear direct responsibility for propelling the bigoted billionaire to the White House.
In its self-described "pied piper" strategy, the Clinton campaign proposed intentionally cultivating extreme right-wing presidential candidates, hoping to turn them into the new "mainstream of the Republican Party" in order to try to increase Clinton's chances of winning.
The Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee called for using far-right candidates "as a cudgel to move the more established candidates further to the right." Clinton's camp insisted that Trump and other extremists should be "elevated" to "leaders of the pack" and media outlets should be told to "take them seriously."

The memo, which was addressed to the Democratic National Committee, outlined "the strategy and goals a potential Hillary Clinton presidential campaign would have regarding the 2016 Republican presidential field."
The document stated, "Clearly most of what is contained in this memo is work the DNC is already doing. This exercise is intended to put those ideas to paper."
It continued, "Our hope is that the goal of a potential HRC campaign and the DNC would be one-in-the-same: to make whomever the Republicans nominate unpalatable to a majority of the electorate."
The memo articulated a three-point strategy. Point 1 called for forcing "all Republican candidates to lock themselves into extreme conservative positions that will hurt them in a general election."
At the time, there were more than a dozen Republican presidential candidates. The "variety of candidates is a positive here," the Clinton campaign said.
"Many of the lesser known can serve as a cudgel to move the more established candidates further to the right," the memo noted.
"In this scenario, we dont want to marginalize the more extreme candidates, but make them more 'Pied Piper' candidates who actually represent the mainstream of the Republican Party," the Clinton campaign wrote.
As examples of these "pied piper" candidates, the memo named Donald Trump as well as Sen. Ted Cruz and Ben Carson).
"We need to be elevating the Pied Piper candidates so that they are leaders of the pack and tell the press to them seriously," the Clinton campaign concluded.
This document was part of the tens of thousands of emails to and from John Podesta, the chair of Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, which were released by WikiLeaks.

In Australia you can get fined like $300 for going as little as 1km/h over the limit (and they do pull you over and fine you for that). The fines only go up from there the faster you go.

in some places the limit is not intended to make cars drive at it
for example a limit of 60mph isn't to make sure every car is going 60mph

but rather they fully expect people to surpass it and want to LIMIT how much it is surpassed

example, if limit is 60 and people go 80 in the left lane
if limit was 70 those people would be going 90
so they set it at 60 to reduce those people from 90 to 80

I literally read an article about this last night as a place discussed raising the speed limit on lower end like to 75 mph and the argument was people would go 100 and that is dangerous so they didn't want to raise the limit to 75

basically the threat of a ticket is stronger than the actual giving of a ticket is the point

The worst is people going 10mph or more under the speed limit on the highway. No you're not being cautious and safe you are backing up traffic and being more dangerous than a speeder. Sometimes ill lay down the horn for an extended period.

Ive never got this. Its called the speed LIMIT. When did it become the minimum instead of the maximum ? Its just stupid to me. Seems like that should be the most you can go

the limit is just protection from tickets and is "supposed" to have been calculated as the safe speed

in most places no calculation was done and it was just randomly thrown on the road by someone not very bright and everyone ignores it because it is not the safe socialized speed

if you break the limit you can always get a ticket

but that doesn't mean go under is the safe speed and it is often not

some places going under the limit is literally going to threaten your life and you should be able to determine this if you are a good driver

anyways my discussion here is as passing exceeding the limit for a very brief amount of time in many cases (not always) is actually the safest move
you pass quickly and get back over and go the limit

Speeding up to pass makes sense, within reason. But otherwise if I'm just in the slow lane and people are on my ass when I'm going the speed limit is infuriating. Or I'm going 10 over in the fast lane and they are still on my ass.

As far as discretionary spending goes video games are incredibly cheap per hour of entertainment and have increased in price very little so I'm not sure where the outrage is coming from. The anything it should be coming at the number of people losing jobs in the industry despite the record profits.
