I'm suggesting you unsubscribe from politically charged subreddits that cherry picks their content to promote their beliefs. It doesn't matter if you post from Fox news if that particular story was picked specifically to paint the subreddit's narrative.

Don't have a catered news feed. If you're dying for news, go specifically to reuters.com or another neutral site. Don't grab a Reuters link from a left subreddit, and then pretend you're neutral.

Both the referendum and the Crimean declaration of independence were illegal on their face because the constitution of Ukraine only allows for such votes when the entire Ukrainian population can vote on it.

To say nothing about the problems with holding a vote with soldiers watching the polling places

That's what happens people keep limiting their news sources to things they want to hear. I told people like OP so many times how dangerous these echo chambers are, and he keeps doubling down on it.
