Texas will be back to normal within one to two weeks, but for the time being it's 13 degrees where I am and the windchill is 5 to 20 degrees below 0. and yes the ground is properly frozen.

Hoarding is dumb but the main part of why so many stores are empty is because the trucks cannot drive food to restock. I don't think most people know how little stock grocery stores have on hand at a given time, in order to minimize waste.

my HEB has been missing numerous shipments over the past few days and that is the main reason we have been empty on some items.

Our roads are not built for snow, we don't curve them so the water drains off the sides, we don't get to salt them in preparation, and they aren't heated. And then once in a blue moon it hits and you can't trust the roads or the drivers.

Even when I was a kid in the 90s I groaned whenever old Hanna barbera cartoons like tom + jerry came on. I acknowledge their importance in cartoon history but that doesn't mean they aren't still boring as hell

I'm mostly talking about cartoons from like the 60s and 70s. Their more modern remakes also tend to be bad though IMO

I think by now he is no longer part of Hillsong. But when he was a part of the church he was promoting it in interviews and tried to dismiss the accusations against it. Don't support shitty churches, especially when you have a huge celebrity platform.

IDK, it's also been a while since I've seen it. I'm no godzilla superfan but I'd have guessed when he was still smaller they could have destroyed him with the sheer concussive force of some of their weapons. Certainly I think they would have been able to take him down if they had known how destructive he would become

that laser scene from that movie was what caught my eye in the first place. It's worse in context of the full movie, when you see all that destruction that could have been avoided if they had taken more decisive action earlier in the movie when he was still in his larval state.

If you want to see a good godzilla movie watch the japanese one from 2018. It doesn't waste any time squaring him against another monster, just puts him in Tokyo and you get to see them struggle while he grows and tears it up.

Me, I needed one. I found it really hollow, I was wondering why I was even there. They don't need to answer immediately as long as they weave a story gradually, that'd be fine, but the story just remains nebulous for hours and hours. Basically all you get is atmosphere and some interactions with the woman needler. Even when you get to the rainy city it still feels like a pointless story so far

Agreed, and I played it for like 12 hours. It's just nowhere near as fun as Metroid or Castlevania, and the respawn system isn't fun, it's just dumb and frustrating.
