-Obviously that criticism isn't because he's a straight white man, because there are loads of those in hollywood and Chris Pratt in particular is getting some criticism

He gets criticism because he uses his platform to advertise his garbage church which has urged people to vote against marriage equality and which asked members to step down from leadership roles bc they were gay. If you use your fame to promote a church like that which obviously has a homophobia problem, you deserve to be called out/criticized.

You can take a picture of anything and be able to track the location of it/others like it whenever you need too
I will never lose anything again. Finding four leaf clovers will be easy too if I can find the first one

I think you can use it on other liquids also as long as they freeze at around the same temperature. Also let's say you can freeze smaller chunks as well, they don't have to be massive.

He's the ragtime savant who got a lot of attention from video game fans when he'd post ragtime piano covers of popular songs from video games.

In 2016 he was critically injured in a car crash was induced into a coma and could not move or talk when he woke.

His family apparently refused to put him in a rehabilitation center, and just dumped him in a senior folk home for the first few years. But apparently now he is finally in rehab and hopefully is starting to regain his movement. I think now he can make some slight motions and can maybe talk some.

I can't imagine how crushed he would feel to no longer be able to dance through his ragtime beats.

I almost collided with a car while making a left turn; in retrospect I think I probably drove through a green light that didn't have a green arrow. I hooted at them bc I thought they messed up, but in reality I'm pretty sure it was me being dumb.

So if you asked a young boy who their male role model is today....you're telling me one or more of these characters would spring up? I doubt it. Maybe a twitch streamer or something. But idk which ones young boys follow that aren't gamers.

Regardless of whether a boy would consciously call out these characters, they are all likable characters who kids are gonna want to emulate, and they shape boys' ideas of maleness and how to be a good man.

If you ask a young boy today who their role model is, he'll probably say it's Spiderman or Thor or somebody. Some of them would cite streamers. But they're all watching TV and movies and are going to be taking lessons on how these characters treat others and what values they hold.

celebrities like Britney are usually meant to be in shape and beautiful. That's the expectation. So if we see one who isn't, people feel willing to mock them over it. As for why they do it -- it's because it's just about the only way they will ever be able to one-up her.

Yeah we needed a way to refer to non-transgender people more elegantly than saying "not transgender". "Normal" isn't just demeaning to trans people, it's also too vague, because if I say I'm cisgender you know exactly what I mean; if I say I'm normal it doesn't mean much unless you have more context.

Did people also get this upset over labels like "straight?"

"boys will be boys" is another way of saying "that's harmless and normal behavior for a boy"

It's ok when it's something actually harmless like [he rolled around in the mud and got dirty while playing] but it's often used to handwave any consequences when boys do things that are actually bad.

Yeah it's a bottom episode, but I think I Should Have Never Gone Ziplining was my least favorite.

I actually think that's a great episode.........until about halfway through, after their first zipline, and then it just falls off a cliff completely and goes from funny to completely boring.

Batman comes off as so dumb in this movie with his stupid voice and how futilely he tries to just beat answers out of the Joker. I feel like I can't take batman any more seriously than the citizen who dresses up as batman in hockey pants.

The fact that the Switch does not have a VC , isn't stupid because they know that Nintendo fans will buy the old guys they put out as new. And that is the fault of the fans. People defend every horrible thing Nintendo does. And we see this with tech in so many ways, look at Samsung take out a useful headphone jacks to save yourself 30 cents when making it. Have fans supporters after the last generation those very same fans complained about apple doing it braged about how Samsung did not.

Unrelated but I feel like removing headphone jacks was done largely so Apple and Samsung and friends could push their expensive wireless headphones.
