OK, so I live in lovely Carmel Valley. Maybe you saw Big Little Lies, set in nearby Monterey. Yeah, I have it pretty good. At least, I had it pretty good. Until this Karen meme came around.

My name is Karen McKay.
I am not a privileged white female. Im a self made real estate investor. Well, I did have a small loan of less than a million dollars from my parents to get me started in the business of owning fabulous real estate in and around Carmel Valley. Well, it wasnt so much a loan as it was a trust fund.
But do you have any idea what a pain in the ass these trusts are to deal with? Why couldnt my parents have just given me the million dollars straight out? I dont know, something about taxes, I guess.
Anyhow, the point is, Im embarrassed to be called Karen now. I mean, what does this meme signify everything I hate: white supremacy, entitlement, and basic bitchiness.

I am not that. I dont think the white race is superior. Nor do I think Im entitled to anything except my name.
What gives these memists the right to appropriate my lovely name? Were real women named Karen consulted in this matter? Did anybody bother to inform us that we might want to file some papers for a name change as the shit is going to come down soon? That would have been nice to know.
Now every time I introduce myself to a client or a colleague, they get a strange look of condescension in their eyes.

My brother had to have his wisdom teeth removed, so my dad shopped around for the cheapest guy to do it.

A few months later, we came across an article in the news about this guy being arrested for killing one of his patients due to neglect. It's a bit scary for my brother to know that in retrospect, but we laugh about it now since he came out of it ok and saved a lot of money.

Keep in mind that wild bird populations have declined by 30% since 1970. There was no point easing restrictions on industries' responsibilities for wildlife other than to appease them for his personal reasons. He basically said "more birds can die if it means the industries fall into favor with me"

Their replacement website has been active for a few months now, ever since Reddit smothered the_donald. They keep their member count hidden (obviously don't want people to see how much smaller the new community is than the old one) and the posts get several thousand upvotes on average instead of 10K to 20K. So it's clearly much smaller than the_donald used to be.

Moreover, starting a month ago or so, they changed the site so that you can't even view it unless you log in. Which hurts its accessibility a lot. I think fewer people will join the site if they can't even see it before registering.

Jenna Marbles is a rare example of a youtuber who blew up and got super rich thanks to youtube...without turning into a douchebag. The wealth and fame didn't ruin her, she still makes the same kind of content as ever, and while I don't watch her I do think she's charming. I think of the youtubers who blew up and started making content where they complain about how hard it was installing their second swimming pool, she's refreshingly down to earth despite living in such wealth now. When it comes to the big youtubers, she's actually respectable.

The people who come in here just calling her ugly, I don't get them.

I forgot that also there are like three people you'll meet in the game who would be somebody completely different in the other game; but they would fill the same role, so it's just for show.

Sword comes with the sword legendary Pokemon and Shield comes with the shield legendary.

They also each have like 20 unique Pokemon to each game, but if you have an online subscription it's not hard at all to find the ones missing from your game.

That's really the only difference between the two of them.

Sometimes pee for some reason doesn't shoot straight, it blasts way to the right or left and you can't predict it.

When I'm at home, I just sit down to pee, now I don't have to wipe piss off the surfaces. And even if your aim is perfect, there is always some sprinkle-splashback when you pee from standing up just due to the height.

There are some pretty cool flags, like New Mexico, South Africa, Colorado, and some others that I'd also put up there.

I just like how they straight up put a rainbow design on the flag. Somehow nobody had done it before. But it fits as a gay icon thematically, not just because it's vibrant and colorful but also because it suggests a wide spectrum of people in a positive light. It also works well as a cape at pride marches when wrapped around your shoulders.

The trans and bi flags are also great because their color schemes are so unique. It's to the point where any time I see white/pink/blue together I think of transgender.
