The thing that bothered me, though, is that Mars being a matriarchy is made a big thing at the beginning of the film, but is rarely mentioned or relevant later on. This is like one of those Tommy Wiseau subplots, that appear and then instantly disappear. --- It has been 0 days since something interesting happened.
