The amount of fighting game personalities responding to this is funny, on top of the fact that they apparently didn't consider their HolostarsEN colleague who regularly plays fighting games on his streams

Some of the streamers who play this ~40 hours a week and pour money into the game are STILL getting pixel variants. Theyve played enough to have every title and avatar already, so they get a new variant every time they get a cosmetic reward yet they still havent gone through every pixel variant so far.

Skrull or Rogue is probably the best card out of those. Beast enables a whole new deck archetype. If you dont like any of those three then Omega Red isnt a bad choice

Good players will recognize what kind of deck youre playing and just not play the Sandman in their hand if its not gonna help them much, since its low power. Like of course you use it against Negative, Bounce, Hit Monkey, Deathwave, but something like Spectrum/Destroyer for example its just not doing much for you, so drop a stronger card instead

They just use actual player names I assume. Pretty much any game does that these days

Enchantress buff is interesting, means White Queen has actual competition if youre looking for a good 4-cost thats not purely a tech card

Hes usually a Spider-Man villain. He worked with Curt Connors and when he saw what accidentally happened to turn Connors into the Lizard, he did it on purpose to himself with stegosaurus DNA.

Their collection filter cant even differentiate between cards that move and a card like Cyclops that says move out in its flavor text, how could you possibly think they have the technology to analyze what your decks strategy is and pair you against people who perfectly counter you (or run the same strategy as you, if thats the particular flavor of this conspiracy that you believe)

Skrull just hit series 3 so it will be significantly more common now. Plus it was a really bad card against almost every top deck in the months prior to the patch (they used very few Ongoings and the ones they did use would be beneficial to your opponent if Skrull copied them) so thats why you werent seeing it much before.

I love that type of play. And the opposite, dodging Shang with Typhoid Mary, or playing out enough cards without priority so that a Devil Dinosaur drops below 9, their Shang misses, then when your cards flip up its like Moon Girl or Agebt Coulson so it grows back up

I pulled their Iron Man on 4 using White Queen. On 5 I played it on right since it was close lane. But they played Rogue on right to steal back the Iron Man! Then played their own Iron Man on 6.

Their other plays were a disaster so I still won, but still.

some bots always have Daredevil mode and can see what you played before choosing their own cards, thats probably how that happened

A few months ago they said Collector not buffing from Mindscape was not intended behavior, but I guess they havent fixed it yet

I think getting to end the game on turn 1 or 2 is why they will never let Bear activate turn-based abilities

you can break the symmetry between you and the opponent through ongoing effects, so she's not bad in anything using Darkhawk, Blue Marvel, Ant-Man. Same if she's played in a lane with Angela or Bishop, they'll get their boost from her being played after the On Reveal effect. Since she's 5-cost you can also play Titania or Hood's Demon after her in the same lane on turn 6.

Mr Negative decks often use her to help compensate for low power cards that got drawn before Negative is played.

If he speaks, it probably wont be like that. Yaddle spoke regularly in Tales of the Jedi.

Thats intentional design. The one part I know of thats messed up with it currently is that if you play Jessica Jones and either she or the location moves, the VFX for her On Reveal stays with her instead of staying with the location, which is what the game actually checks for her boost.

Oh right, the token/card shop cycles in a couple hours, not right when the patch dropped, so maybe it just wont look to put another card in the free spot until then.

Hmm, it says I already claimed a series 3 card this season, but I already had all series 3 cards when this season started. Hope this gets fixed before the next season starts!

oh there is one other situation this hurts for Kitty: Sinister London, Bar Sinister, and Cloning Vats would create enough clones that you usually didn't want to pull every single one back every turn. I imagine they return to hand in the order they were played and she'll stay if your hand is full, which means it'll be harder to pump any specific Kitty up in those situations. But honestly she was probably overpowered with those locations to begin with.

Ah, I doubt this is 100% confirmed but one more likely nerf is from that one weird Wave interaction she had; based on the devs' explanation of why that worked before (it had to do with the card starting the turn on the board) I'm guessing it won't happen anymore since she starts the turn back in your hand.

The main thing was if a player had Daredevil on the board and the opponent returned their Kitty to hand on turn 5 (I forget whether they had to play her out that turn as well) the game would hard crash and you wouldn't be able to reconnect to that match, which ended up locking out players for 30 minutes or more. But other temporary disconnects/crashes from games seemed to happen a lot with her as well. The devs said this didn't happen during that Daredevil situation in their developer environment so it may have had to do with client/server mismatches or something

Not being able to keep her out on turn 5 is a minor loss, but most decks using her weren't running any 6-drops anyway. Even if you weren't playing her out every turn, you would usually want to pull her back in hand to avoid Killmonger.

I suppose saying he fights alongside Link in [TOTK] runs the risk of dumb people overestimating his role in the game and getting mad when its not what they expected. Saying that he fought alongside Link in the trailer is just stating fact of what happened in the trailer.

At least they didnt call it The The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game like they often do with games they publish for some reason.

I honestly dont get NES vibes from the game at all other than the fact that it takes theme inspiration from Castlevania.

I have literally never heard this before and it makes zero sense with the actual story. She was persecuted for being a sorceress, like they seemingly had been throughout history.
