I do have Rockslide too, but I just cant move away from Jubilee fun. Ill probably throw Kitty in there when shes free even though my deck doesnt have much run for turn 6

Yeah it's pretty unheard of for a game to regularly have point in the 50-100 range AND have each individual point matter. The closest might be basketball which is why game designers think it's the best sport ever.

How does Jeff and Leech interact? Does Leech actually disable Jeff's ability or does Jeff just ignore Leech?

I would guess Leech disables Jeff's ability successfully. Leech isn't preventing Jeff from deploying Leech is blanking Jeff's ability.

You know whats awful design? When you play a card that says next turn you can move cards to this location, but another one of the maps also rearranges locations at the end of the turn and then you cant move stuff properly. I was gonna be able to move a card so I could drop a 20 power Thanos and have a second be played at another location, but the interaction between the card and map location locked me out of making my play :(

Thats intentional design. The one part I know of thats messed up with it currently is that if you play Jessica Jones and either she or the location moves, the VFX for her On Reveal stays with her instead of staying with the location, which is what the game actually checks for her boost.

That applies to Shuri now too. If you have priority the next turn and Quake the locations around after someone plays her, you can trip people up

So is everyone excited about the inevitable Sandman nerfs next month? Sandman decks being the most popular is not a meta I expect the devs to keep around for very long.

I never see him, but Id if hes a problem surely hell be nerfed eventually though DeathWave hasnt been still so who knows. I dislike facing Wave altogether mostly

Sandman and Leader is probably gonna be a nasty combo if you front load your board. It's going to create the old Aero situation. Hell, you can even throw Aero in the mix to give you 2 outs

That's a lot of draw order to rely on, especially to be strong enough in turns 1-3 to make it work. Seems balanced enough to not need a nerf.

The problem with old Leader and Aero is they required absolutely 0 setup. Just win 2 lanes in any way, then auto-win on 6. Sandman combos require so much more.

Im confident theyll find a way to ruin him.

Shes also fun as a tech card against Shuri but well

you can break the symmetry between you and the opponent through ongoing effects, so she's not bad in anything using Darkhawk, Blue Marvel, Ant-Man. Same if she's played in a lane with Angela or Bishop, they'll get their boost from her being played after the On Reveal effect. Since she's 5-cost you can also play Titania or Hood's Demon after her in the same lane on turn 6.

Mr Negative decks often use her to help compensate for low power cards that got drawn before Negative is played.

Just had a guy snap at the end of T5 and then drop Mystique on Sinister London as his only T6 play. The lane had been Cosmoed since T3.

I bought Jeff and only drew him after 4 games on T6

Just BM'd the shit out of a Galactus player after he thought he had shit on lock and started BMing me first.

He telegraphed his play then starting emote spamming and snapped so I played Prof X in the lane he was going to play Galactus and snapped back and spammed the thumbs up emote. As soon as Prof revealed he retreated lol

Enchantress into Absorbing Man got me 2 retreats in my first two matches today. Its pretty evil despite low power. Guy lost Luke Cage from the location, but once he played him I was 99% sure he was gonna be playing Wong/Hazmat at the very least

I really struggled from 75-80, but once I got there and up to 85, I flew to 90 (95) with Galactus.

Infinite looks achievable for the first time now which is good because the cardback is amazing.

Started the season at 40.

...and done.

Galactus + Knull is dumb.

This prompted a 'I don't believe you' by the opponent but was what I planned from T3 when I did DD and planned on Goose/Armor T4 to force Heimdall into a certain lane. Although I am just now realizing he could have been ballsy and sacrificed his Heimdall in the mid-lane to guarantee the win, I definitely didn't think of that in real time. So more a misplay by him than good play from me in hindsight

I think the game is trying to tell me something

I have a lot of those that take a while to clear out. Oh look the same Rhino variant in exchange shop Ive seen 3-4 times the last 7 days too. What are the odds? Did the variant shop break because Im seeing the same ones repeatedly it feels like

I got too many good variants in quick succession. I grabbed the armor one yesterday and now I have Artgerm White Queen and the 1200 samurai Psylocke in there today. And I'm like do I really want to clear out my entire gold stash in under 24 hours

Oof, just beat a Thanos/Lockjaw player who didnt get how the new Leech nerf worked and played him into Lockjaw on Turn 5

I will say matchmaking has been drastically better for me since the update. Or rather my win rate is astronomically better and I'm running into far less 1 cube retreats and 4 cube losses

I'm also seeing a shit ton more variants getting played by opponents that I had never seen before and they don't seem to be bots.

Downside is matches are taking longer as my opponents seem to rope or close to rope far more frequently now

I honestly haven't even bothered looking at my variant shop over the last few days because it is always pixel variants.

Took me a second to work out what was going on with their Morbius but it's Morbius into lockjaw Swarm and a visual glitch right?

Gets you a 16 power Odin and then a 12 power Captain Marvel that will fly away if need be

Maybe Armor up there on turn 2 if possible

Just had my first ever Snowguard sighting

They tried to re-activate a Murderworld on Turn 4 to kill my cards and hit their Wolverine again.

Doesnt work that way! (Although maybe it should)

EDIT: With the buffs to Shadow King and Sentry, and with MBaku dropping to Series 3 awhile ago, I think Snowguard is the current unanimous worst card in the game now while it costs 6000 Tokens

unless it had an extremely negative effect you couldn't control i think it's nearly impossible for 1 energy 2 power card to be the literal worst card in the game

i think crystal is probably what should be considered the worst card in the game and probably unanimously. terrible effect, terrible stats, high cost, basically no situation where you'd be happy to play her or generate her off of a random effect

snowguard is pretty bad though and definitely at 6000 tokens but there's still much worse

Snowguard should DEFINITELY re-do Turn limited locations, there are way too many for it to not.

I was using her in my Galactus deck when I hadnt drawn him by Turn 4, lol

I think getting to end the game on turn 1 or 2 is why they will never let Bear activate turn-based abilities

Finally built Sandman Ramp, enjoying it immensely, and the deck's definitely too strong in the current meta compared to where it probably should be

Ironically the counter is Shuri

Funniest Doc Ock ever

He pulls my own Juggernaut (from Cable) and 3 of their good cards into rickety bridge. Juggernaut punts Doc off the bridge to save him, and also before Shang Chi goes off

Needless to say I won this one (he chose to play it out which was strange)
