Ive probably seen 90% of them through the Shop already. Havent seen a single variant I want to buy with my gold still because its basically all been garbage in there

I constantly and consistently have at least 3 pixel variants every freaking shop and lately I get the same ones twice in a row.

At this point I'd prefer if they just opened the shop up to let us decide what we want to buy instead of just giving us a limited selection every 24hrs.

That would be nice. The game will probably close before I see that Jubilee & Wolverine variant. I havent seen more than 1 Jubilee in the shop period

I got chibi Patriot, not bad but I dont much care for the chibis

So now here we are 2 weeks later

I really should consider the "use Heimdall in non-move decks" strategy that was pretty fun.

I'm really having trouble finding any fun decks right now.

The only new deck is Bounce Monkey and I don't like playing a deck that completely loses to Killmonger on turn 6. Every game feels like I have to gamble on whether or not my opponent is playing 1 card that completely wins the matchup.

Every other deck feels like the same decks I've been playing for the last 6 months.

It was almost certainly an issue that requires a full patch, so I wouldn't expect anything until the 18th.

with Beast and Falcon it's not too hard to intentionally lose priority for turn 6, and then Killmonger doesn't matter as much.

I had Xavier locking down the left lane with me well ahead, Cosmo winning 3 > 0 in the right in a location cards couldn't be played to, and Goblin mid.

And he doesn't retreat. Too predictable. Destroyer is still my favorite Galactus counter.

Just let a guy stack up multiple wongs in a lane and was willing to eat the cube loss to see what he was trying to do. And then he plays nothing in that lane T6.

Guessing he didn't draw what he wanted but not sure why he didn't retreat either

Edit: Although maybe he had the same thought with me as I had 3 Quinjets in play but never drew any of my cards that make use of it. Although he should have seen that by T6

Seems like they do more often than not.

The other funny play is enchantress-ing their Patriot with priority on the same turn Mystique flips

They greedily put both in the same lane since they want to stack as many Ultron drones as possible in the other 2 lanes. Trading a bit of max power for 100x more security seems obvious, but no one ever said Patriot players were smart.

And Rogue is way better for Patriot trouncing since the Mystique comes out and does absolutely nothing.

Bonus points for Rogue as you can lure them into it with Goose as they think it's safe from Enchantress.

Killmonger is also a good one when applicable

So im not sure if this is new or i just misremeber how it has always been, but apparently Mr. Negative now can make high damage cards unplayable. I thought I remember him maxing out at 6 cost but I threw him into my Wong deck and he has made Odin unplayable each time Odin was still in my deck because he became 8 cost.

I haven't plated against a Patriot deck this season yet. All Shuris and junk decks

The reason you are misremembering is because The Peak caps them at 6 cost. I'm not sure why Negative doesn't cap them I'm assuming it's because you made your own problem there whereas Peak sorta just happens but yeah.

That could be it, because I honestly think this is the first time I've had a higher power card that can be hit by Mr. Neg.

When theyre enchantressed the Mystique does nothing too.

I love Rogue, but Im rocking Enchantress in my current deck because its hungry for any power it can get.

I can understand the logic behind Snowguards Bear not activating location effects that happen on specific turns, even if I think the card would be more interesting if it did. What I dont have as much grace for is the fact that you cant win the Raft by playing Bear as the fourth card and then when it flips, win the Raft again from the On Reveal effect.

Crushing a Patriot players soul twice in one match is even more satisfying. Enchantressd his Kazaar with priority so he got to flip Patriot over safely in the same lane. Next turn I played Absorbing Man in the same lane and he quit

Man, I climbed to Infinite last season with Patriot and love the deck. Then again, my take on it's a pretty spicy (and definitely suboptimal) one, so maybe that's why?

I need another deck to try out though, I can't keep playing that and bounce every single day. I was looking at Agatha Hela, but I need Ghost Rider for it.

..this guy was running a Discard deck and played Moon Knight turn 4 on Bar Sinister while he had Apocalypse and because Asteroid was the second location he got to play 5 Moon Knight so I lost my entire hand. Good play by him, but wow thats shitty to play against

Dudes literally hitting me with the over and over until I backout after their Turn 6 victories nonstop

I slumped today too. Got up to 59.7 before dropping down to 56.5. All over the course of like an hour.

Mine is my fav combo: Fool / Object of Ridicule. I've been named Fool forever so getting that title was great.

I want "but not the real one" for my Mysterio? name but haven't unlocked it yet

Also the Marvels movie trailer came out and it has a bunch of characters who I only know because of this game so I kinda want to watch it. Just to see if Ms Marvel does the emote at some point.

Pretty cool variant off the season track. Gamora has a lot of good ones but it's nice to get one I'll use.

ngl if someone snaps blind on turn 2 without even knowing what deck I'm on, and I kick their stupid ass, I will lay into them. If it's a snap later in the game it's usually reasonable, but if you try to be a jackass hoping for an early retreat and get slapped for it, I will rub it in.

Im not being a jackass by snapping early Im just a gambler and always snap. Dont be mean to me. Lol

Yeah, or sometimes I have a really good hand that would beat most combos and Im trying to get my extra cubes sooner without giving them an easier retreat.

Snapping early is almost always better than snapping late imo

Game didn't want us to play cards. Probably should have counter snapped as I'm not sure there was anything he could have beat me with here?

I feel like the secret to climbing is to just play at stupid hours.

When I play late at night I tend to climb a lot. When I play early in the morning (especially super early and/or on weekends) I tend to climb a lot. When I play in the middle of afternoon or evening I get my teeth kicked in.

I never get matched with bots in the afternoon / evenings but I do at weird times. But even the normal players it matches me up against seem to be better cube matches for me too

Early morning definitely seems to have people not paying attention and losing a lot or maybe even kids trying to play before school or something. Got DOOM finally so thats cool.

The Dan Hipp Devil Dinosaur & Moon Girl bundle looks pretty cool and only costs gold. Tempted to get it
