But consider also that the Force has clearly had an awakening (hence Rey's use without training and episode 7's subtitle) so it may be that this is a Force power that simply didn't exist at the time of Ep3 but does now.

The novel of TLJ says that Rey basically downloaded all of Kylo Rens skills and abilities in TFA when he probed her mind.

Why didnt Luke use his X-Wing to go to the salt planet in TLJ? I remember people saying that it was broken (even though that was never stated), yet in TRoS Luke lifts it up for Rey and she takes off in it.

A connection and a dyad are not the same thing.

Snoke set up the initial connection, their deepening bond eventually became a dyad, which is something that hadn't been seen for thousands of years. Palps had no idea. This isn't hard to follow.

This isnt expressed at all in the movie. Sure its a possibility, but its not fact.
