Only major works I've read are: Moby Dick, Les Miserables and 1984. Les Miserables was nice. Kinda feminine and touchy feely. Too much Christianity but it was a historical fiction which I thought was cool. I had sympathy for most of the characters. I don't like the perversion of the story as a musical. It is first and foremost a novel. Thernadiers (not looking up the spelling) were total psychos in the book but are comic relief in the play. --- Don't tease the octopus, kids! |
