Its unclear whether the Trump Organization had made an extra effort to try to fill the jobs.

In July, the club placed an ad on Page C8 of the Palm Beach Post: 3 mos recent & verifiable exp in fine dining/country club, the ad said. No tips, Fahrenthold reported.

The ad, which ran twice, gave no email address, mailing address or phone number and instructed applicants to Apply by fax.

The Gateway Pundit (TGP) is a right-wing, far-right, pro-Trump website. It was founded after the United States presidential election in 2004, according to its founder Jim Hoft, to "speak the truth" and to "expose the wickedness of the left". The website is often linked to or cited by Fox News commentator Sean Hannity, Drudge Report, Sarah Palin and other well-known conservative people and media outlets. The website is known for publishing falsehoods and spreading hoaxes.[

lol is this shit your homepage or something?

Anyone can edit Wikipedia and that entry is a blatant attack. Anything conservative is automatically far right, white nationalist, and lies. Someone on this board probably wrote that.

Notes: The Gateway Pundit is a hard-right website that is not afraid of conspiracy theories and the occasional flirtation with outright white supremacists. Not a credible source that occasionally publishes fake news. (10/4/2016) Updated (6/20/2017)

I hope you never run for office. Murderers should have the same rights and opportunities as every other citizen. Assuming they aren't repeat offenders, they shouldn't be locked away indefinitely or killed. A (hopefully) short period of rehabilitation should allow them to rejoin society.

It is frightening that people think this way.

I sincerely hope you're trolling. Jesus Christ.

Right? Seriously. You REALLY think a cold blooded murderer or a rapist is going to get better? Lol. Have them move in with you and your family if you trust them so much.

Waste of space and resources. Best to experiment on them. They found a sexual pleasure in what atrocities they do to their victims. Why should anyone be treated as a human after that?

I'm pretty sure that guy is trolling though. I really don't understand why anyone would care oh so deeply about scum.

No one is perfect and people make mistakes. I believe that everyone deserves a second chance.

This is why we treat something like a crime of passion differently from a serial murderer: because human beings are not irredeemable for doing something like this, and they are capable of atoning. The inhumane thing is stripping the accused of their rights since our system is inherently flawed and there's tons of cases where people walk away from death row innocent of their crimes. Thank God no one in any position to change things thinks like Fayt does, it would be an absolutely travesty to have an innocent individual used as an unwilling test subject because of cynicism.

Can someone @ me with a summary of this topic

Anteaterking posted...
There are too many terrible lines of argument in this topic to address all of them, but here are a few responses:

1. Steele was not paid to report to the FBI and it certainly isn't stated that he was so in this memo. Occasionally being an FBI contact doesn't make anything you research automatically reported to the FBI, and in fact the GPS transcript goes into great detail describing the work situation in this instance.

2. There's no indication that Steele's bias has anything to do with Trump's political positions, support for a particular party, etc. He previously described Trump as being extremely susceptible to blackmail, which is a great reason to not want someone to be president.

3. Being part of a presidential campaign does not make you immune to FISA warrants. There appears to be more than enough evidence to have a FISA warrant against Page that is unrelated to his working on the Trump campaign. Characterizing this as "spying on Trump" or "spying on his campaign" is disingenuous.

4. There's no indication that the FBI even now believes that the dossier is false. In addition, the nature of human intelligence gathering by CIA/MI6/etc. is that much of this is recounting of what specific sources said, not an endorsement of any particular piece of intelligence. This is taken into account when evaluating human intelligence.

5. Republicans and Democrats both paid for the dossier and it doesn't matter who paid for it if the person who is collecting the intelligence doesn't know who the client is (as also outlined in the GPS transcript).

This and the earlier tweet re: warrants for immigrants are both spot on. There are vague assertions by the memo that the evidence is bad for the FBI because...it was too easy for them to get a FISA warrant? That doesn't seem like a hill that the "law and order" Republicans really want to die on.

What if 25% of the memo is false, 25% is verifiable and 50% is inconclusive. Do you believe the memo being released is a mistake then?

No, because if they're choosing to intentionally release a document that is almost entirely false, it speaks a lot to their character considering how they were building this up as bigger than Watergate. I don't even know why you said that, it's not even a very good comparison because it just shows how wholly dishonest it would be to release such a false document when we have no way to corroborate the information given that we don't know the entire context of the FISA warrant.

Still dodging.

Are you ok with law enforcement using material that they know is false when they secure a warrant?

If its verifiable then rely on whatever the verifiable sources are.

That's what I assume Muta was getting at. I don't believe anyone is claiming the dossier is 100% true, I'm pretty sure we know a lot of it is unverified, but if the FBI is choosing to seriously consider this dossier, we can at least safely assume some (even if we don't know what) is possibly actionable intel. If some of that information matches up with what they've already got on Page given that he's already been under FBI scrutiny since 2013, that independent corroboration just solidifies what they've got on him, and if that part of the dossier was used for the warrant, would that be a bad thing?

You put facts in quotations. Are you saying what is said in the memo that apparently we already knew is not true?
These are lies?

Intentionally omitting a large amount of information integral for context can turn truth into lies. Imagine that. It doesn't take a genius to put 2 and 2 together to notice that condensing a 50-60 page document to 4 pages is going to leave out a tremendous amount of context.

Sort of like not telling a judge that you're going for a FISA warrant on a member of a Presidential campaign team based on fake info from said campaign's political rival, who is also a member of the current President's Cabinet...

when you put it that way...

Steele was MI6, I don't know why you keep bringing up the FBI, and intelligence agents are always going to have a large network of sources to pull from. We don't know what information came from which source without Steele saying where it came from, and it's something the FBI is probably aware of already considering they received his information. If 50% of what Steele said was true, do you think we should act on that 50% or just throw the whole thing away because the rest is unverified?

CEs_EFG posted...
and even if he wasn't wrong why did he in fact conceal where he got that info from anyway?

Because even journalists protect their sources? Because Russia is probably not the type of regime you want your identity made public to if you're giving information to an MI6 agent?

well with that logic i can just say that this is also not the full memo, but it clearly states that the source for the Dossier was paid for by the DNC and the fact that it was paid for was kept secret

We literally already know this. We also know that a republican commissioned the dossier initially before the DNC continued paying for it. This is called opposition research, and every campaign does it.

What do you think this says? You realize FISA warrants are something like 50 pages long normally and are loaded with dozens upon dozens pieces of information. Them selectively highlighting "Muh dossier and Yahoo News!" doesn't mean that's the only information used. Especially considering Page had a warrant against him since 2013 and these were requests for a renewal. The entire argument from the people against this memo has been it selectively portrays information and doesn't tell the entire story, and that's exactly what this memo shows.

FISA warrants typically are big thick documents, 50-60 pages. If the Nunes memo about one is just 4 pages, you can bet its a carefully picked bowl of cherries. Made all the more dishonest by holding back the minority rebuttal memo. A real debate needs both. Someone fears that.

Head of the CIA right here.

you can throw your head in the sand if you want but if you seriously believe they didn't spy on people associated with Trumps campaign after stating multiple times they are scared shitless of Trump then you're neck deep in denial

His point is entirely that they spied on people in Trump's campaign; he is not denying that. But that is different from spying on Trump as you had earlier framed it.

Is this just like your argument that Trump didn't talk to Russia, his minions did?

Whether Trump spoke to Russia or his minions did, what matters is if he knew about it or was complicit in it. Trump himself does not physically have to be seen shirtless with Putin to be considered colluding with him.
