And not just distance, I also mean time as well meaning like if you have to catch the bus or subway how long does it usually take for you to get to work?

About an hour driving. It's not a huge distance, it's just LA rush hour traffic, takes like 10-15 minutes to cross the same distance when the freeway is empty.

It takes up a lot of my free time, I could have an extra 30-45 minutes of free time per night instead of wasting it commuting.

I got paid less than all of my coworkers, despite being there for much longer and doing much more work. I was getting paid $10,000 less than a coworker who just sat there all day texting and browsing social media and whining about not having much work to do. I didn't get a raise for about 4 years. Now I am doing the work of 5 people and they claimed they were going to give a raise, but it is too late, I quit. They would have to give me near 6 figures sincr they are

About 40 minutes, but sometimes it crept up to an hour with traffic.

I can't imagine being willing to do more than 40 mins one way. I currently do 20 and my longest has been 35.

Okay so, I left the house at 8am this morning and got to the city my school is in at like 11:30am. And it's about 15 minutes to get to school.
Walk > Bus > Train > Regional Bus > Bus > Bus
This is just Tuesdays.

The funny thing is, if I had my car, it would take 50 minutes.

My current commute. Because I carpool, its about 45 minutes each way.

I work from home....my commute is literally "Brush teeth, wash face, make coffee, feed cats, pour coffee, walk to basement, turn on laptop". 10 minutes, tops.
