I only had 5 dupes on FFXV, but still managed to dupe a Noctis BSB. Ugh.

More enjoyable was the Shadow LMR off a 100-gem draw. I have his USB, but no source of en-dark, so this should massively improve his damage output.

I started the RoP with Rem BSB.

I'm ready for Yiazmat. (though I already kinda was, since I also have Ashe BSB)

I also went ahead and gave her the full 5* dive, because why not. I already had her USB+OSB (a fully augmented 200 mind Holy+ dagger) and both LMRs. I'm only missing a SSB to have her fully complete. I can't imagine a future where I wouldn't want her in my future magic holy team.

Now I know where my LD luck went. I picked up my second 6* from the daily draw. This time it was only a Raines OSB dupe, but it was a pleasant surprise regardless.

Also managed sub-30 on the two easier torments. I might have a shot at 50% on the D???, we'll see.

I thought you were counting her because her chase is Wind/Holy/NE, but then Matoya also chases with Fire/Lightning/Ice.

I usually run 6 magicites each Sunday, since XP daily is kinda worthless at this point, when you have enough eggs to get everyone to 99 if you want.

The 3 million aren't super important, but I don't have to worry about missing the 5 mythril.

It might be worth doing the daily draw now. The FFRK board seems to think the rates might have been buffed, with a reported 5*, 2 users with a 4*; me, I got a 3*.

Edit: Reddit also has several reported 5*s and 6*s. Sounds like we might have the buffed JP rates now.

Shelke gets 3 instant casts (+Haste) instead of 1. While her first turn will be a second later than Ramza's, she will still be faster than whoever you are entrusting, so that 1 second doesn't matter.

I like to run Shelke with Mako Might.
turn 1-entrust to dps1, turn 2 Wrath, turn 3 entrust to dps2
Your primary dps can use their USB on turn 1.
If the enemy opens with an AoE, which most 4* magicites do, you gain just the right amount of SB for your second dps. Your second DPS can use either Lifesiphon or a weakness hitting 6* ability on their first turn, then they are ready to USB on their turn 2.

Stigma Bizarro Sephiroth was way harder than I expected. So much HP to chew through, and building a team to take care of the opposing immunities on the two Magics was rough.

Screw that CM though. There's no way I could handle that.

I got the sub-30 on the two "easy" difficulties. I even got my absolute best torment time on a D280 (21 seconds), thanks to Yuffie going crazy with the doublecasts.

I had to dive Tifa with her USB2, which I was gonna do sooner or later anyway, and Yuffie (with Glint), who has uncommon mote requirements, so no big deal.

I haven't attempted D??? yet, but I doubt I could even get to 50% with this team. Maybe when we get the 6* Earth Monk ability.

BTW, Incubus Ultima is a major bitch.

Slotting in Protectga, Shellga, Hastega and a source of Dispel will be extremely difficult. Maybe I can skip Protectga, if I can kill the arms fast enough.

Frankly, I have no idea how I want to tackle this one. For the previous torments, I at least had an idea how to approach the fight, but this one might be a nightmare even at the D280 level.

I managed to sub-30 the D280, on the first attempt no less (Ashe with USB+Chain Thundaja rocks), but it was super close (29 seconds).
I instantly bought and r4'd Voltech. I'm now at 91 Black Crystals.

170 rubies left before attempting the bullshit difficulty, where I may, or may not, get to 50%. I don't think I'll r5 any of the current 6* spells anytime soon. Maria with her USB wants that Chain Stoneja, and with doublecast, I think that's the one I should r5, if any.

I wouldn't.

You have 2 of the 4 6*s, and one of the main 5* prizes. Besides, Lenna's USB is not that great, since it isn't instant. That 2.5 sec cast time for your healer is a real problem.

There's going to be plenty of good stuff on future banners, where you don't have as many dupes.

Can I just say how much I hate that Black and Earth are on the same day? Earlier today I mathed my needs of crystals with my currently planned honing goals, and those two types are needed for so many abilities I want.

Meanwhile, you have Wind and White on the same day, where I'd need to do some utterly ridiculous hones to even need more than I already have. Same for Non-elemental and Summon.

I managed to do 60% to the D???. I think that's as far as I can go. These fights are such bullshit. HP to 1 attacks, fixed ST 9999 damage moves, 5000 AoE damage. It's just beyond ridiculous.

My team I posted earlier slaughtered the 240. My first attempt on D280 was around 35 seconds, because I stupidly used Enkidu before the second Flash, meaning Dorgann and Faris remained blinded (as well as Lenna and Krile, I guess).
On the second run, I got him in 27-ish seconds. That leaves the D???, where I'm not really expecting much.

I think I'll keep those rubies I just earned. My XII is not nearly as stacked, and I want to buy Vortex (which is basically Lightning-Water-Ice Meltdown) asap.

I have some nice V relics, but I know D??? isn't happening. D240 should be easy, and D280 might work.

Here's my current plan:
- Bartz with USB - Snowspell, possibly with Steal Power in the second slot.
- Faris with USB2 (Debuffs and Imperil wind), spams Dash & Slash, second slot either Mug Bloodlust, Thief Revenge, or a debuff
- Dorgann with SSB, dispels Gilgamesh, builds some chain with Knight abilities and provides a buff with his SSB
- Krile with Sheepsong provides a Hastega and does as much damage as possible with Meltdown and Tiamat
- Lenna has her USB for an early mixed party buff, and also has both of her BSBs for stronger healing. Protectga and Curada as abilities.

Enkidu magicite will take care of the blinds.

Yesterday I tried for two hours against the Tactics ??? Torment, and the best I could do was 54%. I feel that 60% might be possible, but that's it. I just don't understand how people can clear that fight under 30 seconds.

I have done my share of inheritance.

- I have two Evrea's, one with HP Boon, and one with Fast Act.
- I have Level 15 dampens for each element.
I also like combining Crit-more and Crit-damage.

I'm still not sure what I want to inherit on the magic-focused magicites. Fast Act is an option, but since I'm already running an Evrea with it, the effect of an additional one is barely noticeable. Or I could go with an extra Magic Boon.

Those last two fights in the FFT event were such bullshit. So many status effects: instant ko, petrification, confuse, and stop. This was so much harder than Diablos.

Even the D280 was harder than I expected. Slow is a real bitch. It took a few tries, but I got the sub 30 on D280, with TGC (OSB+USB), Meliadoul(BSB, but she entrusted to TGC), Ramza (Shout 2), Agrias(OSB) and Ovelia(SSB).

D??? On the other hand, I can't even come close to 50%. I might have done 30-ish% on my best attempt.

As far as 1/11s are concerned, this is definitely among the better ones. I already have Rinoa USB, which basically does the same thing, so I'm not as happy as I could be, but it's still a great relic.

OK pUSB+LMR, and a pretty solid spread of quality relics for all elements has still allowed me to sub 30 all 4* magicites, so I'm doing pretty well for myself, even without chains.

I just feel like that may not cut it anymore against the 5*s.
