Like I feel like it'll be necessary to have a chance at dwhale FF7 Torment with my teamcomp but I already sub 30d 280 and need Aeris's Ultra to really have a hope at dwhale I think

But I do like Rufus and he's like never in banners

I guess Vanille's burst heal would be solid

You probably already picked it but I wouldn't since I think you said you have Rufus' super and his burst is pretty much the same with commands. You should pick something to help a in realm you're lacking in for torments.

I beat Bizzaro Sephiroth today! What a bastard to take down!



For all the flack Tidus' BSB2 was getting earlier it actually was really important in killing the water immune magic thanks to the non-elemental side, and in general with the instant casts since when I tried with Zack/Cloud they would take too long with their soul break casts and Cloud needed a lot of meter and both my godwalls would wear off before I could finish Seph off. Tidus and Bartz' faster casts helped kill Seph without worry about the second one wearing off. Seph's tankiness also let Bartz go wild when he was stacked with glint and both USBs.

Rufus's burst adds a lot of utility over his super cause one of the commands has a decent dark imperil attack, especially if I dive him then it gets two tries. You can run him with Dispel + Protectga or whatever if you do that and still let him have something to do when he doesn't need to dispel so it could matter.

But no I'm not picking for a while. At least not till as many fest luckies as can appear do. Honestly leaning Vanille's Burst right now. Seems like one of the better bursts in the game and my healing is FFXIII is garbo. Plus liking Vanille helps.

if your atk is high enough then LM2+LMR burst commands slightly outpace LM1+LMR raging quadstrikes on average

though i think it's always better to use Cloud's LM1 with raging quadstrike anyway due to the 10% SB damage. raging quadstrike also generates more SB guage.

the main reason i could see to use his burst commands would be if you don't have his USB1 and they're capping (or close), so you can get more hits that way

Got my last wing raptor from Fenrir. Also fought Hydra for the first time in quite a long time, since my last best time was 44.46. Beat him in 20.46, thanks to Bartz with blast strike+USB, and Orlandu with USB and Gaia cross/earth sabre.

Question: I have Ramza with LMR, so I put mako might on him, and have him entrust to my primary DPS instantly. I've heard of the LD Shelke bot as well, but Ramza starts immediately with a full bar. What's the advantage of Shelke? I got her to 99, haven't LDed yet, unsure if I should or not.

Shelke and Morrow have a LM2 that gives them initial Haste + Instant Cast 3. They'll resolve their third action at the same time most party members are just getting their second turn, so with Ace Striker you can Wrath, Wrath, Entrust to a DPS character, who is able to do whatever on turn one and then use their USB or whatnot on turn two.

I think speed clears often have Shelke or Morrow carry Mako Might so they can go Entrust, Wrath, Entrust to get two DPS characters up and running quickly.

Shelke starts with haste and 3 instant casts. She can instant entrust a mako might or with a Ace Striker RM she can wrath twice and then entrust near 2 bars (and that character being entrusted will have meter anyway if they been damage or have been using abilities so they'll have two bars.) Also she's really good for characters who have to use multiple soul breaks early (IE with Tidus I have him lifesiphon for two turns, have Shelke wrath twice, then entrust then Tidus can use his chain then Ultra next turn)

Also entrusing healers is a major help in dealing with 4* magicite and other aoe heavy bosses that spamming curada can't cover.

Shelke gets 3 instant casts (+Haste) instead of 1. While her first turn will be a second later than Ramza's, she will still be faster than whoever you are entrusting, so that 1 second doesn't matter.

I like to run Shelke with Mako Might.
turn 1-entrust to dps1, turn 2 Wrath, turn 3 entrust to dps2
Your primary dps can use their USB on turn 1.
If the enemy opens with an AoE, which most 4* magicites do, you gain just the right amount of SB for your second dps. Your second DPS can use either Lifesiphon or a weakness hitting 6* ability on their first turn, then they are ready to USB on their turn 2.

Oh also that new 6* lightning/wind celerity skill comes out soon as well, if you're willing to sacrifice a bit of meter gain Shelke/Morrow can use it instead of wrath to help with DPS/chain, especially if they're hitting weakness.

Depends on the healer and magicite boss, and their phases. You can get more leeway on entrusting healers once you get *4 dampen elements and Blade/Spell Wards.

Fair enough. Will have to try it out eventually. Basically murdered Hydra all day, including getting a best magicite time of 15.39. Got 4 of each, joining Fenrir, LF, and sealion. Golem next, though now with both of Cloud's USBs and his AOSB, plus wind spellblade God Bartz, hopefully I can reliably sub30 him.

It's actually not stamina efficient to redo them unless you just don't like having undone Missions. The Mote Dungeons give you 10 motes/60 whereas the mission only gives you 5/40.

I don't like having missions incomplete, and I actually redid the one I missed. I know it's inefficient, but since I did this on Wind/White day, the lost stamina isn't a huge problem.

i had to redo a few because i didn't use realm teams and i thought it was JUST using that character in costume. i can't believe they're making us waste time setting up 7 different parties for something so trivial.

I forgot to do a few of the Cid Missions (I too also assumed you only had to bring the character in costume) but meh, as long time players we have plenty of 4* motes at this point. Though admittedly I've run out of Wisdom motes to 4* dive Seymour, I've got hundreds of every other mote so I'm not too concerned about missing these motes (and really I only have myself to blame, I blew Wisdom motes on characters I only have supers for Cid Missions in other events.) Besides the next fest is close enough anyway and that will probably give me more than enough Wisdom motes for Seymour.

Better than the alternative with Dressed to the Nines where they took out Cid Missions completely for that event.

Galuf got recently buffed to white magic *4 so he can protect/shellga while Lenna uses hastega. Krile and Gogo's SSBs also have hastaga if you have them and Gogo and Exdeath also have access to white magic *5. I just brought Shellga on Galuf since I got Faris' BSB2 which has large attack breakdowns.

Maintenance is tonight. Make sure to use up your stamina before 1PM PST.

Also sorta on topic my figurines of Diamond, Sapphire and Ruby Weapon I bought off eBay came from Japan today. I ordered them around the last fest since I liked the sprites of the Weapons and saw they also had figurines on the Final Fantasy Wiki. I saw some on eBay but they only had free shipping so that would explain the wait.(I also had to settle for a metallic variant of Ruby Weapon since I kept getting outbid on the normal color)

Yeah but apparently it didn't have anything exclusive from the mobile game and just had bosses from the console game, so they could have ignored promotion for the mobile game and made it a normal WoFF event.

Also a boss from that event is supposed to be in an upcoming Crystal Tower. Wonder how they're gonna handle that.
