I think for the final three of Vol. 2 and perhaps the Fighters of Vol. 3 (if that's a thing), will come down between these characters: Chun-Li, Chosen Undead, Crash Bandicoot, Crono, Dante, Doomguy, Doctor Eggman, Gordon Freeman, Lara Croft, Master Chief, Monster Hunter, Phoenix Wright, Rayman, and Ryu Hayabusa. This is, of course, not including any potential Nintendo characters, which I'm sure we'll at least get one more if Vol. 3 is a thing. Sadly, I think Geno and Sora are out of the running.

Its not banned. This is incorrect info that keeps being spread. X was released in Japan. 11 wasnt localized, but you can still buy it on Steam.

So, this is for fans of the Noble Nine. From known leaker, Vergeben, before Hero was released.



To slightly sum up this post, he heard seven names from Square Enix in regards to a potential Fighter coming to Smash. Erdrick, Luminary, Slime, Sephiroth, Crono, Geno, and Sora.

Of those names, he heard specifically heard that Sephiroth, a Dragon Quest character, and Crono were considered the most likely to be the character. Geno was considered a joke, while it was said that Sora was not in. The thing is, we now have both Hero (Erdrick and Luminary, with Slime being part of their taunts) and Sephiroth. So, what this means to me, is that either Crono will be a Mii Costume or a Fighter down the line.

This is heavy speculation, but if Fighters Pass Vol. 3 ends up being a thing, then I think chances are good that Crono will be a Fighter in it. Then the Noble Nine will be complete.

My GOTY nominee predictions were nearly spot on. I predicted that the six nominees would be among those six and Half-Life: Alyx. Shame Half-Life: Alyx didn't get nominated, but I guess it shows you how niche VR really is. At least it got nominated for Game Direction.

Really, it's super unlikely to change at this point. Georgia is doing a recount though. It might be the only one that could theoretically change at this point. They should just call Alaska and North Carolina for Trump and Arizona, Nevada, and Pennsylvania for Biden.

Based on how close so many states are really shows how divided this country is. Regardless of who wins, the country needs some fixing. I definitely trust Biden to do a better job of that, but I feel like something more needs to be done that neither party can really do.

Yeah, it's really important not to throw out outliers, and to have a good estimate for unknown unknowns. That's why 538 gave Trump a reasonable 30% in 2016 instead of the lolworthy 1% other models were giving.

Yeah, that was the poll I was thinking of. Not from the same guys as the one I posted. Right now they have him at 10%. Considerably lower than in 2016. Which makes me less nervous, but still not fully convinced.

idk, There were rumors about Nintendo paying Valve to make a Half-Life game on Switch (which ended up being a strategy game called "Half-Life: Tactics") that might still be in development or on hold and that Nintendo generally wants to work with Valve. Maybe Smash would be the place? Plus, generally Valve and Half-Life are pretty respected among Japanese devs, receiving DLC content in both Death Stranding and Final Fantasy XV on the PC versions of the games.

He's still very much a Darkhorse pick, and not all that likely, but no where near impossible either.

The fact that the game already has Rathalos and Byleth plays very similarly to what people imagine Monster Hunter might play like is probably a good indicator that they aren't happening. But, who knows, I have Gordon Freeman on my prediction, lol.
