All depends on the source, but '80-'84 seems to be very overlapping with the generations. Some say those born in '84 are the very last gen x.

A generation is supposed to be 18 years.

WW2 ends in 1945 so the first boomers are born in 1946.

1946 - 1964 Boomers
1965 - 1983 X
1984 - 2002 Y
2003 - 2021 Zoomers

You can kind of +/- a year in either direction.

Wow the career trajectory of James Gunn is nuts. No idea how this will go but at the very least we should be seeing interesting stuff.

Peacemaker was better than all of the MCU shows quite easily so hopefully we see more stuff like it.

Gunn probably won't be directing anymore but the two of them have put out essentially the best DCEU content to date. Aquaman, Shazam, The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker, and some upcoming shit either involved one or both of them. The only movie that they didn't work on worth mentioning is Wonder Woman.
