There's 2 kinds of fake bullets. A "squib" which is a non firing prop bullet used for appearances but is otherwise made out of the same shit, and a blank, which is only the casing & gunpowder and no actual bullet. It fires, blasting off a wax cap that disintegrates harmlessly. You'd have to be shot at point blank range to sustain an injury from a blank.

As they were switching ammo from squibs to blanks, the bullet part of the squib broke off inside the barrel. Then when they fired the blank, there was a bullet already inside the barrel that got ejected with the force of actual live ammo.

There's a blame game you can play like with Alec Baldwin but regardless of who you blame it was genuinely an accident.

I've heard all kinds of bullshit about his death like they thought he was joking and left him there for a few minutes, or even that someone intentionally loaded live ammo & such and those stories are all fake.

I remember seeing those books in my Middle School library, not sure why I never read them. Maybe it was something to do with the cover art.

The story is more disturbing than the cover art.

Fahrenheit 451
Jennifer Government

Collectively I call those four books the modern gospel.

If you're not sure which one to read first I recommend Jennifer Government. It's slightly more light hearted and straight forward than the rest.

1st degree burns on 90% of your body is considered top tier triage it's like right there in the same category as stroke.

I don't know what his official diagnosis is but based on his symptoms it sounds like he's got second degree burns on 90% instead. If he lives it'll be a miracle.
