But they put all their eggs in the competitive basket and there's absolutely nothing for casuals. No real single player mode. No interesting stage mechanics. Not even items. Melee is mostly known for its competitive scene these days, but it actually had a damn good single player mode. Classic mode, adventure mode, target smash, multiman smash, all the events, unlocking all the characters, etc, etc. What does NSAB have? Sports mode and an obviously thrown together Arcade Mode.
