St Louis style is ubiquitous in the Midwest. Its cracker thin crust made without yeast. Ive had it in Des Moines in several places.

Cracker crust truly is the GOAT. Indiana has many great takes on this type of pizza.

It's not as impactful as the no OCs thing is, but I'm reminded of how in Mario+Rabbids, Ubisoft was told they couldn't have Mario jump around in the overworld for traversal.

This kind of rigid, "we only want yellow M&Ms in the bowl"-type branding demand grates on my nerves more than it probably should.

The Pokemon Company is even worse about it.

At this point, the Paper Mario devs should probably just stop talking. >_> I honestly empathize with them to a degree; I think corporate meddling is the main thing that clipped the wings of this series, and this interview certainly lends credence to that idea. But still, anything they say at this point is just going to be used against them and piss people off further.

Vice Verses is a great album. Not a fan of Switchfoot's earlier material, but I enjoyed later albums like this and Hello Hurricane quite a bit.

I also really like TobyMac. The production on his albums is OUTSTANDING and he brings a sincere passion to the table. This song is a favorite of mine.

Flights should be cheaper because of COVID, yes. Ideally, you should book at least three weeks in advance for the best rates; but for a route as major as CLT-IAH, timing shouldn't matter quite as much. Round trip is generally your best bet as well, though that isn't an ironclad rule.

Try not to have Friday or Sunday as your departure/arrival days, as they tend to be the most expensive days to fly. I recommend cross-examining fares between Google Flights, Skyscanner and Momondo. If you find yourself needing a rental car, you can save a lot of money via Hotwire or Priceline, but make sure the rental agency is a reputable chain - some airports have some fly-by-night rental companies that'll screw ya.

Honestly, I've felt this way ever since he picked Pence as VP. Hoosiers HATED Pence and he was at a serious risk of losing reelection, despite Indiana being a very red state. (The situation was comparable to Matt Bevin in KY.) Trump picking Pence screamed "sandbagging" to me.

I visited Seattle for five days last year. I wouldn't want to live there for various reasons - cost of living, traffic, the "Seattle Freeze" - but I did enjoy my stay. West Seattle was delightful and the college district is awesome. I also visited two Pink Gorilla Games locations and was blown away by their selection - I finally snagged an NTSC copy of Mr. Do! (Game Boy) thanks to the Chinatown location.

Clu Clu Land becomes ridiculously fun once you get a handle on the unusual controls. It's one of my favorite arcade-style games ever.

I would part with Mach Rider next, personally, but even that isn't a bad game (and has an amazing soundtrack). Wild Gunman was for sure the worst and deserved the first elim.

If anyone here is still planning to start college during the 2020-2021 academic year, I can't recommend a gap year enough (assuming it doesn't fuck up any of your scholarships/grants). Online education is a tedious sham that's vastly inferior to the on-campus experience in every way except convenience. It isn't even worth your time, let alone these exorbitant prices that institutions insist on charging this fall.

I used to love Taco Bell as a kid/teen, but their tendency to constantly pull shit from the menu killed my enthusiasm. I went from going on a weekly basis to going two or three times a year.

For what it's worth, Santa, I understand your apprehension/frustration here. There are some things I really liked about the pre-release footage, but most of the info has had my bullshit meter going nuts.

I don't think developers should always give in to the mob, but there are times where the mob is right. In the case of Paper Mario, I think the longtime fan/"give us another TTYD" crowd is actually right on the money.

I have H.E.R.'s self-titled album on vinyl. It's technically a compilation of her first two EPs. It's good stuff, and a really solid pressing!

I think "Focus" is my favorite song of hers. Time seems to stop when it comes on.
