Kinda forces you to take and a break whether you want to or not. I definitely dont mind throwing a couple more batteries into my xbone controller and just keep going. --- |

Ive always loved Joey but on this rewatch Im really starting to notice how fucking hilarious his timing, delivery and expressions are. It's pretty middling or bad in terms of a lot of things, like dungeons, overworld, music, story, and it's basically the worst Zelda in terms of combat. Some puzzles were ok but almost every puzzle in every Zelda are great. People seriously have the inability to value things for their time or to remember how games made you feel when you first played them. rikasa posted... SwayM posted... Trinkets, crafting materials, upgrades, equipment. Things like that. But listing it doesnt do justice of the feeling of discovery. I also forgot to mention how various powers and items you get that reward you for just fooling around with them and coming up with creative solutions to traverse the world. --- |

Oh its one of the best exploration games Ive ever played. The world design is absolutely fantastic and everything is built in mind to give the play incentive to be inquisitive. You see all these towers in the distance and you ask how do I get there. How do I scale it You see mob camps peppered about and you think of interesting ways of to tackle them. You leave no stone unturned because the possibility of treasure. You find something curious in the world and you dig a little deeper, employ a little common sense and you absolutely will be rewarded for it. They absolutely nailed the spirit of Zelda. Which to me is two words. Go. Discover. --- |

Also youve literally had 20 years of traditional Zelda Darmik posted... The cool thing about BOTW's formula is that it can be a lot more variable. Anything that's completely open with some goals to find and a final boss is going to be a faithful follow up. I agree with this. There is a lot of room to play around without tinkering too much or making it a formula I hope they learn a lot from this game --- |

So many different things to uncover. Exploration feels really good and the world reward you for it time and time again. For 20 years now theyve been trying to recreate OoT to the letter, instead of capturing the feeling that the game gave. Now lets see if they spend another 20 years trying to recreate BOTW. --- |
