Absolutely, but he didn't draw the line at that. He would not back down from a position of "unions should not be able to do this". He had some positions where it was things he had no idea that unions actually did those things. It was "regular unions dont do -insert things regular unions do- so police arent real unions" arguments mixed up in there.

You could be right, I stopped paying full attention to politics topics around then. I just legitimately only remember him mostly pointing out the differences between police unions and regular labor unions, and to that point he was right.

Not worth arguing over, in the long run. I think we all ended up agreeing on the same conclusion, minus a few obvious outliers.

For the record, my memory coincides with Chris in that, for all of his problems, Biscuit was as close to 100% correct about police unions as it gets, and he was vehemently vocally against them. Maybe he made a few wrong assumptions here and there, but his overarching message was completely correct.

And this comes from somebody who never stopped giving him shit over defending Richard Spencer over the gym incident, for instance.

EDIT: Maybe others took Biscuit's anti-police union rhetoric and used it to argue against unions in general? I don't actually remember such a thing coming from Biscuit himself, he seemed aggressively anti-police union and pro traditional labor union.

I mean, this strikes me as a pretty fair, even generous, criticism of police!

Anyway unions are great (except police "unions").

I remember even Biscuit agreeing police unions were a problem, since unions are supposed to help workers against an unjust authority figure, whereas police are their own authority.

This is not surprising, since the show WANTED you to hate him for quite a while!

I have an extremely severe weakness for characters that a show or game goes out of the way to make look like/actually be the worst, only to have them wake up and try to fix things, or have it revealed that wasn't the case. It's not quite a redemption story thing, since I actually don't like this when the characters in question were just straight up villains, but it's close.

I think it helps that Juzo's story in particular is SO GOOD and quite relatable, since his reasoning for everything he does is blatantly spelled out, and none of it is over the top or anything.

Also yeah, I'm not sure where this "You need to see/read the other stuff outside of the games to get the games" came from, it's not true at all. It expands on certain things, and some of it is interesting, but it's not at all like, mandatory. The extra stuff can give you more context to understand some theories and such, but those are just theories. When it comes to the core story, you only need the main three games.

Honestly, K. Rool is exactly who you want pressing buttons/calling in ranged attacks, since he does it frequently in the actual games. Everywhere from calling in cannonball shots, to training/instructing actual snipers (Kroc/Krosshair, which are canon Kremlins who control/fire the crosshair reticles in those DKC levels).

If you have a Windows OS, then Xbox controllers should be able to connect via bluetooth. I have preferred using rechargable batteries over built-in controller batteries for both battery life and controller longevity, but I am unsure where your feelings are on that.

Anyway, the Microsoft-branded Xbox One and Series controllers are arguably my two favorite controllers ever (I prefer the feel of the former slightly more I think), so they get my vote. I don't know if you can still get their Xbox One controllers new though.

This is a good call, too, since I have atleast one old Xbox One controller atleast SOMEWHERE. I bought the Plug and Play pack or whatever because I personally hate having to deal with individual rechargeable batteries, but I remember it having pretty decent battery life.

Kind of hard to come by new ones but you did say you like the PS design.

Actually not a bad suggestion. I honestly haven't used one since the originals, where the battery life was atrocious. Did they improve it? I'm honestly probably more willing to sacrifice design/feel for battery life, but if it became atleast decent, I'd probably splurge.

EDIT: I should have probably been more specific. Ultimately, I don't play games on PC/Steam every day. When I do, it's like, an 8-9 hour a day kind of splurge thing, where I'm not working or not going out and just want to drink and game and ignore everything, basically, so that's why battery life is important to me.

Actually I'll just leave it at this.

One of the dumbest things I find about sports is the expectations that rules should change based on "the moment".

It's an incomprehensible way of thinking to me.

It's more of a consistency thing. If you're gonna call something like that at the very end of the game to change the entire flow, then you should be calling it all game. It's a correct call, but the timing and inconsistency just makes it look like the refs are just choosing when they feel like calling something or not, which makes it stand out and thus people complain. Be ticky-tack all game, or don't be at all.

EDIT: Hell, I was disagreeing with people here over a game a few weeks ago because they were saying the refs made too many calls, and I was fine with it because they were pretty much consistently ticky-tack all game.

Our media is not at all controlled by right wingers. Its actually so far left that a bunch of bad faith actors exploited this (think Alex Jones or Breitbart conspiracy types) to generate massive audiences, so what we have now are two fringe minorities selling outrage and trying to be the actual story instead of just reporting news, both of which claim to be a counterculture even though the mass majority of the population thinks theyre all garbage.

This is just blatantly false, and I'd say you should feel bad, but you obviously never do based on how often you get btfo and then cry about it. You pretend you care on this board, but your behavior on other boards (such as the NFL board, where you were recently suspended for anti-vax bullshit) proves who you really are.

Hell, when you got suspended on the NFL board for anti-vax bullshit, you came crawling back here crying "that's not me, honest!" Fuck off with that. We know who you are, and you get treated accordingly.

The partnership with Rudolph has been in the works for a while, said Gabrielle Wesley, chief marketing officer for Mars Wrigley North America, in a statement emailed to CNN.

There are lots of stories out there but let me say conclusively that this decision isnt a reaction to but rather is in support of our M&MS brand, Wesley said. The original colorful cast of M&MS spokescandies are, at present, pursuing other personal passions.

That doesnt mean the brand is ditching the candy characters: We will share more on the spokescandies new pursuits over the next few weeks, a spokesperson told CNN.

Rudolph will appear in an M&MS Super Bowl commercial.
